tongirl02 huge congratulations on reaching your monthly goal!

loveofmylife001 another 2 pounds gone forever, feels good to say it

love2b150 really nice seeing you again. I don't know any foods that are appetite suppressants, but drinking a LOT of water definitely fills you up and keeps you hydrated, which usually curbs appetite.

So this last week of August, I only exercised twice and I started going back to my old habits of not planning my lunches and skipping meals or eating whatever, whenever (but still no junk food). I have a scheduled colonoscopy on Friday and I am repeating a pattern that I identified 2 years ago when I had to go in for a biopsy of my cervix: the procedure weighs heavily on my mind, I try to pretend it's not and that everything is ok, but I am concerned and worried and it's as if my brain shuts off and I stop living normally.

But this morning I got up and exercised and I will pack a healthy lunch and move forward. Dreading the couple of days before the colonoscopy though, seriously no fruits/cereal/whole grains? That's my whole food plan right there lol

Still one more day to go. Overall I'm happy that the scale did indeed move down over the month and moved considerably from my highest weight during TOM. Most of it was water bloat but it's still a relief to see it go!

Thanks for starting the new thread, Rennie As for the discussion you can find it on this thread--pages 14 and 15, specifically.

http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/livi...inning-15.html

It's comforting to hear the collective experiences of folks who've lost a lot of weight and for various reasons regained and are working their way back down. Honestly, there have been days where I've wondered if I'm the only one who can't seem to manage to wrap my mind (and motivation) around tackling my weight again. Seeing that conversation develop and hearing my own experiences through others has allowed me to get off my own back! Not off the hook mind you, just more perspective and less of that feeling like I'm alone.

Thanks for starting the new thread Rennie!
I'll check in over there.

Saturday's weigh in showed 2 lbs down so August's total loss was 11 lbs.
... I could've done (much!) better on the exercise and water intake fronts and I'll probably have to knuckle down to harder work in September because all my "easy" pounds have likely shed already...
Reality check incoming 3..2..1..

Sunshinie 11 pounds is an amazing loss in one month. Congrats!

So I finish the month with a small loss. Wish it was more, at this rate I won't see Onederland this year. See you guys in the other thread.
