Rennie - I just checked my "before lunch/after breakfast" sugar and it's 97. I didn't check my fasting this morning though. Breakfast was coffee with coconut oil and a banana.
My goal for July is to lose 9 lbs - get down to 230 lbs.

Kris, that's great on the before and after I haven't checked that in awhile. I tried the coffee with coconut oil, I can't drink it.
Nishna to the thread best of luck on your goal
I'm down another .9 so hopefully I will get to my ticker weight by Monday and start moving it down once a week ... Ok time to make my lunch, I'll be back later. Have a great day.
I ended June with a 4.4 pound loss, so my goal is to up that to 6 pounds in July!
rachel2writer Great job on the loss in June. The 220s are right around the corner.
love2b150 have a nice day as well!
Did NOT feel like working out this morning, but did it anyway. Tomorrow will be a rest day. I'm about 1 pound away to getting back to where I was before I took those work trips last month.
Down 0.4 to 205.2. Not entirely sure how that happened, because I snacked practically all day at work yesterday and not on good things. Head hanging low. In any case, I'm chugging water galore and trying to stay on track today. I leave for my work trip on Sunday morning. Need to make sure I can make good decisions while I'm there.

I use about one tablespoon coconut oil in a cup of coffee and add in some cinnamon. You have to mix it really well in a blender or Magic Bullet. I've done it once or twice with just a shaker cup and it just doesn't mix good enough. Occasionally I will throw in a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder. I really like it.
Congrats on the .9 loss I'm down to my ticker weight (223) today and within 13 pounds of the "red dress weight."
I hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend. I probably won't be online much . . . I have a very large to-do list I would like to accomplish this weekend, in between the times I'll be watching my grandkids while my daughter works.

Oh, it figures! I decide to start a new challenge and my cycle shows up to celebrate with me Such is life.
Today turned out to be kind of a fitness centered day. Received my new Fitbit Zip to replace my old one that died on me a few days ago and bought new running shoes to replace my very old ones with almost no tread. Super happy with my new shoes and received the best customer service at Fleet Feet from a gentleman named Rick.
A happy and safe 4th of July holiday to all!

I'm going to need check-in this month for sure - school holidays can either be a super productive time for me, or a disaster. Hoping to keep this one on course with lots of activity and a reloaded diet. Here I will track daily weight and from 6th July, when work is truly over, my exercise regime. Good luck for July, all.
Best of luck!! Glad you're here!

Hope you are having a great trip!! And yes those 50 oz drinks in Vegas got me too! But man they were fun

Same here!! We can do it! I'm actually eating yogurt and preparing to go work out before tonight's cookout.

Hope you have a great trip! One thing that helps me every week when traveling is checking these boards in the morning or early afternoon! It's tough but I know you can do it

Happy belated Canada Day
As for me, I had drinks and sliders last night at a family dinner, so bounced up 2.5 pounds - getting on the treadmill in a few, then getting ready to go to another cookout - can't promise I won't have some more drinks and burgers, BUT I can promise I will be back on the treadmill tomorrow
Kris GO YOU! on the ticker weight on the Red Dress ... that's a victory! I remember you choosing that dress, though I liked the silver one you showed us also. I love formal wear. My FBS was 143 this morning. I'm not sure why. I guess I need to really start working on that again. Is the coffee still oily? That's what bothered me. The feel of it.
Alicia, enjoy your day. Wish I had a cookout to go to.
Everybody enjoy your weekend and wishing all safe travels
I am really hoping this scale is correct!!! Only about 2 lb gain thus far and we went to 4 parties yesterday!!
I told everyone my plans and used them as my accountability partners and cheerleaders! (This saying is similar to a quote I read...I don't want to take credit!)
When I wanted that 2nd dessert I was politely reminded that I used my "dessert card" already! I LOVE my family!
I've had some swelling in my feet from that long ride; however, it's already improved. I leave tonight and I suspect the same will happen...
