Candid you got this girl. Tell that "Inner Mean Girl" she needs to find a new home. Your weight will fluctuate, so don't give up. Just make some adjustments. Hope this helps some.
So, yesterday was a bit of a shock for me. I didn't have a great eating day on Friday, but I wasn't prepared for what the scale showed me yesterday morning. Woke up early at about 430ish to pee, so I though I'd take a quick peek at the scale - 210.4. I freaked out. Went back to sleep and when I woke up a little while later 208.9. Better, but definitely not what I wanted to see! Hadn't seen those numbers since I was pregnant with Peanut! I think it was the mental kick in the butt that I needed. Made some really good changes yesterday, and happy to say back down to 205.9. Just need to continue on from here.
July you're going down!!!
Hello everyone, I have started my training for my half marathon last Monday. I'm hoping with the training, I can knock some of this weight off. I trying to reach 220 by August 15th!!
02: 239.0
03: 239.1
04: 239.2
05: XXX
06: 238.9
07: travelling for work
08: travelling for work
09: travelling for work
10: travelling for work
11: 239.4 -- not bad sine I've been eating in restaurants for the past 4 days
12: 237.9 going back down!
13: 237.6
Up again 1.2 to 207.1. I think it may be the sodium in my dinner last night, because my portions and overall were okay. Flushing it out today.
Rennie - you're right, I used to drink an ACV and honey tea every night, and I haven't done that in quite some time. It's funny that you mentioned Ona; I was thinking about her yesterday while I was watching the Wimbledon championship. I wonder how she's doing these days
Cammy, you look great did you get my text? Don't allow that scale number to control who you are. Look at your MFP numbers, you are loyal to YOU and those hiccups and minor blips happen. Exercise takes time and I find that it's the hardest thing to start doing ... and for me it's getting there. If I MAKE it there I'll do it but I don't want to go so I have to deal with the consequences because I know how much more it will help as do you. You'll do it when you're ready. I have full faith in you ... on the number going up ... You may have to switch things around for a few days. I always suggest calorie cycling which it what my friend Diana suggested to me years ago and it worked wonders. It keeps your body guessing. Give it a shot for about a week or two
Kukkie good job on getting that number to go back down, GO YOU
winning15, you are on a roll, GO YOU What are you doing to help on this journey?
LGW, good job yesterday as for today, probably just fluid, YOU'VE GOT THIS
Scotsgal, GO YOU
Curvy,
Nishna, GO YOU
Kukkie, ... yeah Ona loved tennis. I've gone back to her ACV tips for me from time to time when I need a refresher
Good job on the workout Martine
Well I've decided to cut the carbs again and get myself together. It's working for the most part (see my weigh in's on page 1). I know after the initial water weight drops it will slow down. My first goal is to get down to my ticker weight of 169. Then I want to see 165. My lowest was 152.8 on 12/1. I need to get back there so I can finally see my name LOVE2B150 I was so close and I messed up, smh.
I was pretty excited (and a little surprised) to see that 220.4 today. Hoping I don't have a bounce back, but if I do that's okay. I'm claiming it . . . because that's how I roll Maybe I'll see the teens soon.
I had a few things I shouldn't have today, but overall I think I'll be okay. I'll be having cabbage soup for dinner, so that should help balance things out some.
Life has been crazy busy/stressful for me . . . work . . . grandkids . . . life . . . etc. My 6-year-old grandson said to me the other day "Grandma, you're looking kind of skinny." Made me feel good. A bit later, his younger brother (just turned 5) asked "why are you looking skinny?" I said "because I'm losing weight." He said "that's not good." Apparently he is worried I will look different. I told him not to worry because I will still "look like Grandma."
I hope everyone had a good weekend and good start to the week. I'll try to check back later for personals (might not make it back tonight though).

That's awesome, compliments from kids and people you rarely see are the best - because they are genuine and brutal (good or bad lol). Congrats! I know that's motivating!

I know how you feel - whether you bounce 20 pounds up away from the lowest or in my case 80 - its tough but have to shake it off and get back on track. I'm still working on re-losing the first 10! smh

:hugs: Sodium is the devil. I ate VERY good last Thursday and was up .6 due to sodium I guess. Friday I cheated (didnt go cray cray but still didnt eat on plan) and I lost 1.2 Life.
Pretty much starting at the same place I was 7 days ago. Except tonight I am going to make MUCH better choices than I did last Monday night! So let's hope to see the scale reward me this week!

I have completed 2 weeks of training and it's going really good so far. I have been doing 1 extra mile each running day. Saturday I did 7.46 miles instead of 5 miles. I was going for 8, but i didn't fully charged my phone. I'm trying to stay ahead, because I will be going on vacation during my training time.

Alicia, we'll do it ... I try to keep that slow and steady part in my head because I know it's gonna slow down. I need to prepare for those .1-.2 days, BIG SIGH Oh and if you look at my stats 160.6 seems to be my go to number it has shown up too many time, smh. re-start, re-start, re-start ...
winning15, GO YOU, 7.46 miles is 8 in my book and I'm trying to do the same WOE that you're doing but the occasional snack does find my mouth ... to you
