I would like to join this groups journey.

I really wanna make this the last year I'm uncomfortable in my skin. I've made a 3 day streak of healthy eating and working out.

3/1/15- walked 15,000 steps with my Fitbit and had calorie count below 1500

Ok, jumping in....after weeks of singin' the blues and feeling sorry for myself! Hoping to be in the 2teens by the time we leave for vacation on 3/21. We will return on 3/28 and hoping to maintain while we are gone! I'll have 3 days to, hopefully flush all the fluid that will collect in my feet on the drive home before the final weigh-in!

3/2: 226.8 (ouch! That's higher than I started last month at!) Getting back to some MUCH NEEDED EXERCISING today!

February sucked for me. There's no better way to put it. I felt like I was drowning in work. I was working insane hours: early mornings, staying later than usual. Going home to take care of my Peanut and then working again after I'd put him to sleep. Couple that with the fact that Peanut hasn't been sleeping well (nightmares, teething, who knows) and I was exhausted all the time. I didn't work out, wasn't watching what I ate - leaned towards the quick and easy comforts. And I paid the price. Yesterday was the final weigh in for the biggest loser competition that I was doing with other moms and I didn't even bother to go. At some point during the day, the scale read over 200 for me. I know it was the middle of the day, but I swore I would never see it again. So that was a bit of a wake-up call for me. So I'm back, not really sure why I left. But here I am, and I'm going to tackle this blasted decade of weight and get out of it once and for all.

Looks like a rough month of Feb for a lot of us - but welcome back! The victory isn't in the scale apparantly - it's in the fact we're all here and angry or sad - but still in it to give it all we got! That counts for something in my book

Lori, I don't know what I'm doing to myself. I just mentioned that I think TOM is coming because I am back to wanting everything, smh. I bought the SYNC BURN but couldn't get it to pair with my phone, thus not being able to sync it with MFP. I now have the Samsung Gear. It still doesn't sync with MFP but it works well with my phone Samsung too of course and it tracks my steps and sleep which I love. I always wanted a fitbit and a good friend offered to reward me with one if I tried harder and made my goal of 150. Well I guess my mouth wants to eat more than I want the fitbit, just sad. I think some (most) people are afraid to comment on a women's weight. Someone has noticed I'm sure

Candidcamster, your welcome and no problem always my pleasure Thanks on the 2lb comment. I'm up .4 today thanks to some uncontrollable snacking, smh. TOM cravings suck, they last forever it seems. How are you doing?

Today started out ok but I was exhausted when I got off. I ate crackers in the car on the way home (my way of staying awake). Then I ate doughnuts with my daughter before picking my son up, and then more after picking him up, smh ... just confessing.

3/2/15 ~ didn't reach my workout goals today and bombed the eating. One day. No biggie. Not gonna let it ruin the next few days. Tomorrow my calories will be under 1500.

I bought a Jawbone UP24 fitness tracker today. I have been looking at them since someone posted they were using fitbit and my fitness pal. Molly, was that you? No workout yesterday, as I could barely walk after the exercise done on Sunday. I was walking like a penguin (best visual to represent my situation). But despite working a 12-hour shift, I ate well and even though I was dead tired coming home at 8:15, SO and I took the time to cook a very healthy meal for supper.

I should be working another solid 12 hours again today, I'll see if I can fit in a workout later.
