Hi all,
After a 70 lb loss over 10 years ago, I’m back to almost 270 lbs.
I’m trying to start all over again. Message boards were so important to my accountability last time.
I met my husband 4 years ago and have never figured out how to schedule fitness around our life together. He’s also introduced restaurant appetizers to my life. I don’t do a good job of declining. And though I know what it takes and have loads of healthier twists I used to count on food wise, he’s not a fan of most of the healthier stuff. I’m not up for an evening cooking 2 different meals.
I’m lucky to have an elliptical at home. I just need to get on it. I need to cut the calories.
I’m 40 now so that’s an added challenge.
Anyway, I’ll focus on water intake and getting that back up. I worked out for 30 minutes this afternoon.
I’d like to do some light weight exercises and a few crunches to see if my abs recognize them at all.
I’m excited to read back and get to know you all. Jen and Goddess, I see you’ve posted the last couple of days and frequency is so helpful. I hope I can provide support to anyone here who needs it. I formed lifelong friendships on the board I was on years ago.
And Jen, 10lbs in less than a month?!! Quite a motivator I’d imagine.
