Completed day 3 of walking in my neighborhood and controlling my portions(until payday and I can go shopping!). My 13 year old son is helping me by getting up in the mornings to do his workout and helping me to do the same. So far so good.

imthegoddess: how are you doing these days? Way to stay in the 260's, you can do this!

momtopands: Way to go sticking to your workouts and portion-sizes! It's great that your son is able to help you, I always find that it's easier to be successful when you have support at home (still hard work, but a bit easier )

Oh, I'm hanging in there. I wish the scale would get to the 265 mark. Hopefully it will by the end of the month. Everyone's moving down, that's great. Keep up the good work.

Frustratingly gained 1.6 this week putting me at 290.8. Couldn't find at 290's thread so i'm still here. Hoping to get back down into the 280's. Still walking and finally able to go shopping and get started seriously working on our eating.

Hi , I feel for you. I've been fluctuating up and down for a good solid week or more. One day last week I was 266, but I haven't seen that number again since. I'm still here too. There is no life in the 250-260 tread either. Hi everyone. How are you doing?

Thanks for the encouragement. I guess it was my first week and I usually lose that first week and then slow down. I have decided to change my weigh in day to Fridays. Getting on the scale today i'm down 2.4! Total loss from start 0.8 and i'm happy for that! Back in the 280's now, 288.4, and truly don't want to see anything higher again!

Imthegoddess: Sorry there's no life in the 250s-260s thread, glad to see you're still chatting here, though

I haven't been as diligent as I'd like in terms of exercise this past week because of busy days and catching up with family I don't see regularly. This week I'm aiming to meet my goal of swimming laps for 30 minutes 3x/week and I'm also aiming to start a 12-week workout challenge today. Hope you both are having a great day
