I keep bouncing between 281-283. Today is a 283 day. I'm so ready to be done with the 280s, so it looks like I really need to prove it and get focused. Keep fighting the good fight, ladies!

Hey everyone! I feel like for some reason getting out of the 280s has been harder than ALOT of my weight loss journey last time. I feel like if I could just get out of 280s I would feel more motivated, that's why I'm trying to get serious and just power through these first 10 lbs and get myself going in the right direction. 287.0 today, small loss but still a victory.

Kalymarie, I feel the same way as you. The 280s have been such a pain. I had gotten up to 299 at my highest so I'm definitely proud of the loss so far, but I really want to see 279 on the scale. My next goal after that is 273, which is where I was when I started working from home 2 years ago. Happy to be back in an office! I'll be glad to get there, but it will also be like my true starting point in a sense, in my mind anyway. All we can do is keep trying. Any loss, no matter how small, is a step closer to reaching our goals.

Hi gagirl1, I know what you mean about your true Starting point, I've been having a hard time accepting this weight at all up until this point and I feel like I won't even be really "losing" weight until I get back to what I was when I started losing last time. It's hard for me to accept my goal went from needing to lose 70 or so lbs to now needing to lose 100. I'm 286.7 today despite my husband ordering pizza instead of cooking last night extra water and healthy eating today to make up for it.

I'm still holding steady at 279. I've gone up and down a pound or so over the past week, but I had a pretty stressful week last week finishing assignments for the classes I was taking. I have a couple of weeks off before the next class starts, so hopefully that will help my weight loss efforts as well.

I didn't weigh this morning, but I feel good overall today, and I feel good in what I'm wearing, so I decided that it doesn't matter what the number is on the scale. I hope you all find something to feel good about today.

Awesome I am hoping to catch up to you. Today I am at 280. I've been in the 280s forever. I have 1 day at 279 but then it went back up between 285 and 283. I need to get out of the 280s

Kiwi, I thought I would NEVER get out of the 280s! I was like you, just constantly up and down. Just keep truckin. You'll get there. I'm still at 277 today but I'm looking for a loss this week. I've been doing mostly low carb, but I'm transitioning to calorie counting to see if I can get a boost.

So I've been absent for a while because we went on vacation and then I came back to being super slammed for work. BUT I'm back on track, drinking tons of water, and joined a new gym yesterday so hopefully I can start seeing some progress. Good job gagirl for getting into the 70s!I'm st 285.7 today so losing some of what I gained on vacation and then hopefully it'll keep moving down.

Kaly and Kiwi, I'm so glad to have some company on this board. Let's all hurry and move on to the next one. I'm at 276 this morning. A small loss, but I'll take it. I gained it one pound at a time, and can only lose it the same way.
