Biggesy hurdle to overcome- Not getting bored with a plan, getting frustrated with no instant results. Thinking I cant make this change

don't worry about the volumn of my hair but I would like a cut that makes me look like I wear a size eight all over and not just my shoe size. I know you can do that and I have a picture if that will help.....:D
