Ok back to catching up
Starting from 2/13, page 6
Candidcamster I didn't make my goal either. I did poorly. But I have a plan starting tomorrow. So hopefully I can get it together. I didn't weigh in this morning no power. I don't know if I weighed in yesterday before the power went out at 2:23am. At least I was already dressed for work and had made my coffee
We'll get back into the groove of things
VickiLou, I always update my original post also.
I haven't been doing well either. Like I said to
candidcamster, we'll get it together (back in the groove)
TOgden3, nice losses, keep up the good work
Thanks
Molly I had that one day that did me justice and then I fell off the wagon again, smh
C25K is Couch to being able to do a 5K. It's set up to help you go from walking to jogging/running. I have tried it, but have never completed it. ... I've been eating the way you said you were eating (mac n cheese) for weeks now. And the days that I start to eat properly I then mess up when I get home with the kids (since they've been home more than not with inclement weather school closings). I'm hoping to start anew tomorrow.
I need to buy a goal something to look at again also
Molly good job on the chocolates and dinner sounded tasty on 2/17. I love tilapia
I ate a ton of chocolates a co-worker brought in one day last week. Then my son had a pack of the vanilla oreos, I went crazy with those also, smh. The delicious Girl Scout cookies, I bought 6 boxes. I ate a half roll of thin mints and I still have more than half of a pack of lemonades
I guess those are the ones for me to buy. They actually last
Howie, I have a question about Subway. ... when you eat at Subway to help control meals sizes and lose weight, do you eat the bread or make it a salad. I always wanted to do the sub thing like the guy that loss all of the weight but I know the bread alone would be a trigger, so nope, can't do that
. How are you doing with it? I am so hoping to get out of this funk starting tomorrow and do what I know is much better for me. I sure hope I can do it. ... I know ONE DAY AT A TIME is all I can do
Howie, I'm a lot late but if you want to post your meals during your induction phase in the March thread. I will try to do it also. Even though I think I'm gonna try to do two shakes a day and veggies for a few days. I need to get the junk out of my head. I have been so stuck in the eat anything mode. Something has to change my thought process. Hope this will. Howie, I'm sorry your friend didn't stick it out. Atkins is hard and you truly need someone to constantly be accountable to in order to succeed. I'm gonna do my best to be more active on our March thread. I do know that it does help to stay accountable to like minded people. I can/We can do this
Great job on the 7lbs
pnkrckpixikat, that's how I feel. Busy busy busy. Time surely gets away from you
Lori I love sauteed yellow squash, zucchini and onion
Have you ever tried it in an omelette? It's very good. You get your veggies and protein all in one
I hope you get that extra carrot soon
Good job on the 3lbs
wannabesomebody, I know what you mean about the sagging. There was once a thread on here about the other sagging thing you didn't mention. I have finally come to grips with all of the sagging. I still look in the mirror every now and then and hold it up and pull it tight and think wow what if. But it is what it is and like you I just want to be healthy
I was 38 when I had my last and everyone thought I was crazy. It was a difficult pregnancy. I had to do a stress test/sonogram every two weeks and because my glucose was off the chain I had to do two shots of insulin a day from two months until she was born. 38 is not 40 but I say if you are in better shape and that is what you want, go for it. I wish you all the best.
cant w8 2b skinny, GO YOU
11.8lbs is wonderful. I'd love to do that
Nagazim, I'm tired of this cycle also. I'm claiming March as MY TIME to be accountable. I think your goal by June is definitely doable. You can do it
I got up to 165.6 on 2/22. I will definitely not have a loss for February. I am back to where I was on January 1st at 165.8. So I have a ton of work to do. I want to get back to where I was on December 1st which was 152.8. I've got to put forth a ton of effort to succeed.
Well I'm all caught up. I have had a little of everything today and my son is making a homemade banana pudding from scratch. This will be my last hurrah. I'm gonna definitely do the shakes for at least 3 days with veggies in the evenings and pray that I can fully get my head fully back into the game. Wish me luck my friends. Ok gonna set up the March thread and post the link
