Default New/odd things you are noticing now that u weigh less

So I was driving the other day a little miffed because I thought someone had moved my steering wheel or seat but I couldn't figure out what had happen bc it looked the same. I am thinking I lost a lot of weight in my arse because.. I can no longer see over the steering wheel lol. Like I could see the hood of my car before and the road.. now I can see road between the top of my steering wheel and dash board. Just thought it was funny. I might need to get a pillow now to sit on

That sounds like something I called "little golden nuggets" when I was losing in 2007. Loose underware, collarbones and hip bones showing up after a long hibernation, crossing my legs, etc. Thanks for the reminder of what I have to look forward to again. And congrats on your " little golden nugget."

Being able to cross my legs comfortably was a huge thing for me. Now since the regain, I've kind of lost is again. Looking forward to it!

Also going out in yoga pants without having to worry about a shirt long enough to cover my butt was a great feeling

Most of my shockers were how other people changed the way they related to me that I just did not notice at a heavier weight.

Like strangers smiling at me; people sitting next to me more in meetings and on trains and buses; people taking me more seriously; people touching me more etc.

A lot of society just don't like fat people. Or perhaps "think they can catch getting fat". Very depressing.

Having visible collarbones is an odd thing for me. Mine have been submerged for the majority of my adult life.

I remember how odd it was when I first noticed the change in my gait. Since losing the weight in my midsection, I no longer waddle. My hips actually move.

Looking at a full length picture of myself and realizing that I look relatively normal sized was strange. Yes, I'm still 40 lbs overweight, but it's not the first thing you notice about me like when I was 110 lbs overweight.
