Love2be150 - - - OMG .... I LOVE THE SNOW but after 25 years in Pittsburgh (West Mifflin) why wouldn't I .... I am so sad that we haven't had not a single flake yet here in VA.
1/2 268, 1541 cal, 1267 steps, 5 min sworkit
1/3 267, 1318 cal, 3422 steps, 5 min sworkit
1/4 266, 1105 cal, 2726 steps, 5 min sworkit
1/5 265 1284 cal, 9190 steps, 10 min sworkit
Feeling stronger-physically as well as in resolve- which is a wave I want to ride. I thoroughly enjoyed the food I had planned and packed for work and had enough calories budgeted to eat a small bbq pork rib and 1.5 cups steamed green beans with the fam tonight.
Thanks for the encouragement,
~Molly
ps I like the kind of snow you fly in to enjoy for a bit and then leave it behind. In 2010 my husband and I flew to Fairbanks, Alaska to have Christmas at the North Pole (that's the town's name). It was an amazing experience on so many levels.
And then we flew home to put on shorts for New Year's.
Hi guys, well today is day four. I awoke so tired today even though I was in bed about 9 hours. Not asleep the whole time, but most of it. Maybe its the body reacting to no sugar and no alcohol. Ready to hit the day! Good luck to everyone.
Started the day shoveling snow for 30 minutes and then a 30 minute walk to work. I'm ready for a nap now. lol Always nice to be outside though! Eating is going great and all though I only record once a week I do weigh daily and it is looking good for this week. More water weight but I love the first two or three weeks of being back on plan it comes off so easy. To bad it's taking off the 35 I put on Oct-Dec.
So inspiring to see all the drops on this thread! Im stalling but that's how it can go with daily weighing... I have my clinic weigh in on Friday so that will show a weekly loss which is great. Thanks for the wonderful tips on San Diego - getting excited!!! The tips will be very helpful
Good morning all! I did the elliptical yesterday even though I REALLY didn't want to go to the gym. Yay me! I don't think my body is ready to do it every day yet so I might start every other day for now until I get used to it. I might swim tonight instead depending on how I am feeling later. I asked my friend if she wanted to go with me so if she says yes it is a sure thing, if not it'll depend on how lazy I am It seems like my starting whoosh is definately over ah well! I am happy to just have stayed under 260, that is like my hard limit. As I lose I need to try to bring my hard limit down with me, maybe that way I don't get so far off track again. I have tried before, but 260 just seems to be ingrained somewhere in me.
Dedicatedt - I am sure the weigh in at the clinic will go AWESOME What plan are you following? Is it a national program? If so, maybe the clinic can contact a clinic in San Diego and get recommendations of places that you can eat OP while out of town so you don't feel like the choice is A. miss out or B. go off the rails completely. Even if they can't do that They should at least be able to give you suggestions of types of things you can order at various restaurants and still be reasonably OP. What area of SD are you going to be visiting? What are your plans? SHARE so I can live vicariously through you!
W= Walking
E= Elliptical
S= Swimming
ST= Strength
B= Bike (machine or real)
A guy goes to the doctor and is told "Sir you have gained back 20 of the 30 pounds you lost, your sugar is back up and you are borderline diabetic again."
The man meets his friend for lunch. His friend asked "How'd it go at the doctor's?"
"Not so good and my wife is going to tell me I can't bring pizza home anymore."
His friend says, "So eat it in the car."
When my husband told me about his day I said "With friends like that you'd better up your life insurance."
True story.
Moral of the story: Fill your life and surround yourself with people who will support your decision to be as healthy as you can be.

Little sore/stiff this morning. Might be because it is so dern cold!! hehe
Felt better after the exercise, imagine that.
Last night I sprayed pam on a 9x13 pan formerly fondly called "The brownie pan", filled the bottom with about 2 layers of sliced yellow squash. Sprinkled liberally with tony sachere salt free and baked at 350 for about 20 min (til tender but not soggy).
Stirred to mix up a bit then panned up into 1cup portions in tupperware.
Less than 100 cal (I try to keep my snacks under 100cal) and a delish snack cold or hot. That is my day-time snack today (room temp at work) and side dish veggie for dinner tonight (hot).
Have a great day everyone!
