Default It's been awhile

I have been trying to find a support group on my fitness pal but there forums suck. So anyway I thought I would come back here as I have great memory's of when I first lost all my weight. I have been up and down over the past years (lifetime). lol For those who don't know me which is probably about everyone on here at this time, my heaviest was 490 lbs I am now probably 299 but won't know until I weigh in Friday. This past year I have dropped 116 lbs and over thanksgiving put on about 10. My goal is what I hit in 2005 which is 245 half the man I used to be. I had back surgery right after making my goal but then the lbs crept up over the following 9 years. Anyway my wife Kimberley and myself have been trying to recapture what we had back then. It's always hard but I'm working on it. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Howie! I remember you from before, mainly from your profile picture! Good to see you again. You certainly had an impressive loss from before and I'm sure you can do it again!

I totally understand what you mean about the myfitnesspal forum. I use MFP for the calorie counting, but not the forums. I come back here!!

Welcome back! Agreed with you on the MFP forums. I glanced at them one time because I was curious only to see a bunch of rating type threads. It all seemed a bit juvenile and not necessarily motivating to me. Glad to have you here and I'm sure you'll get the weight off again.

I remember you! You and Kimberly were great inspirations when I was here previously. I decided that I need to get back here, and what do I see? You're back! You have done a great job losing weight. It is hard to keep it off, but good for you - getting back on track to lose it again!

I definitely remember you howie! You were one I always enjoyed following because you stuck with it even in difficult times and made such great progress. It Is good to see that you are still here giving your much needed encouragement. I hope you reach your goal even sooner than you are projecting! You deserve it after all the hard work you have already done! Thanks again for sharing your insight and encouragement. You are a needed voice here on3FC!!

You are welcome! I know what you mean - it's like casting bread on the water. Love your signature verse, by the way.
