Wow, ladies, you're doin' great! NjPants, how long have you been working to lose weight? You've made fantastic progress!

Well, I'm impatient, but I am consistently losing again...finally. I'm having fun changing the ticker&sigs every day. Sig is weekly average and ticker is the scale number.

Stay strong, ladies, and keep moving!

SeeMyFeet, I feel like I've been working on it for my whole life, but the losses started happening in November.

Hi and bye,bye.
It's the 9th.-weigh in day for me, I lost 6 pounds! Down to 216. I haven't lost this quickly since my 1 st 9 days back in Sept'14. Looks like the combo reiki for weightloss and the gabriel method visualizations really speeded things up. My food and exercise level was same as last few months.oh! Yeah, I forgot to tell y'all that I found I like Jon Gabriel's guide d visualizations even more than the hypnosis. Check him out, he lost 202 pounds. My total is now 83 pounds. On to the teen section, hope to see you there soon.

Well Fairy flittered in and out pretty fast, didn't she? (Must have hummingbird metabolism!)

NjPants, I see you're in France. (Pants in France, ha) Stories?

Well, I'm down around 8lb in less than two weeks. How I got that high (again), I don't know. If I forget to weigh in once, it starts going downhill pretty fast. One extra glass of milk here, a handful of nuts there, and BOOM here's an extra 10lb fer ya!

Ladeees, this is a dangerous weight range, and we have to work hard to get out of it. I am really feeling the time bomb ticking away. I am tired and frustrated, but that bear is still lunging at my heels. Must Keep Running.

SeeMyFeet, I came to France to work as an au pair. I had studied two summers ago in France and had dropped 45 pounds during my stay. I had a feeling that if I spent more time in France, I could take more weight off. My theory is proving correct as since November, when I arrived, I've lost nearly 70 pounds!

I weighed in at 231 for this week. I'm almost into the 220s and that feel pretty great. This 2 pound loss comes even with me being very bloated today. I'm considering giving myself a reweigh tomorrow once the bloating goes down.

I spent yesterday walking the entire grounds of Versailles. It's an amazing place, but my favorite of all was Marie Antoinette's Hamlet. It was so much walking that my entire body is sore and I'm thinking it's also the reason for the bloat.

I've been stuck at 233 for the past 3 days, but I am actually ok with that, in one sense I am like "move scale" but in another I am happy to be maintaining rather than gaining, which is what usually happens when I am not losing weight. Way to go lookin2lose, you're doing wonderful!

Goodness! This thread IS slow! Only a few posts since my last and I've been AWOL for a looong time. I was losing well for a short time on a low carb plan, but developed some health issues, so I backed off. I'm ready to pick things up again...."only" 3lb above my ticker weight.....which...considering how off plan I've been...is not too bad.

you guys are movin' down...and i'm so jelly.....

I've been traveling around Europe for the last two weeks so I'm not anywhere near a scale. I'm hoping that while I'm in Germany I haven't enjoyed too many beers and brats that the scales show a gain. Lots of walking though. My next country is Italy so pasta everywhere! Wish me luck ladies...

walk it off, Ms Pants! (and stay away from the gelato, if you can!)

Ms Candid, you and Lookin still here? or have you lost your way out of this thread already?

Almost made it back to my ticker...hoping to keep chugging along....

Hey SeeMyFeet I'm still here! lol I've had some struggles with my journey lately, today I came in at 234.2 which isn't bad, but my lowest was 233 and I am trying desperately to get out of the 230's by the end of this month. I adjusted/lowered my calories on MFP from a goal of 1 lb. per week to 1 1/2 lbs. per week which took me from 1740 calories down to 1470 calories, which is a scary number for me, I don't believe in eating less than 1600 calories a day, but we'll see how long I can handle it lol. I'm also doing my Leslie Sansone dvd (only at the 1-1 1/2 mile level, plan to move on to 2 miles by around Mother's Day 5/10).

...amazed and happy....I am back at my ticker weight! Today I weighed in at exactly the same weight as 3 weeks ago. My weight loss graph over the past 5 days looks un-be-lieve-able! 1.17 lb per day rate of wt loss. I know it's all fluid and the result of switching back to low carb, but it's weight off my joints.

You'll get there Candid! I wish I could lose at 1600! I shoot for 1200, but I usually go over a few times a week. Then again, my exercise has been off and on--I had to give up running for a while, and finally came to the conclusion that I am not a runner. I just started going to the pool, so I'm hoping that will help eat up some fat. I LOVE the pool, but it's so time consuming and difficult to schedule. I'm still waiting for my chance to go today.

Aww thank you @ SeeMyFeet, I would love to do water aerobics but I don't know of an affordable gym around me that offers classes . In the meantime I'm loving the Leslie Sansone. I would like to do Curves gym this fall maybe? We'll see.

ETA -
Congratulations on your progress SeeMyFeet, you're doing awesome! What changes have you noticed since being on this journey? One for me is I don't get dizzy when I bend over anymore, that is huge.

Well Ms Candid, I have not had the same big, long-term success as you. I got down to 198--that lasted for about a day. Back then, I felt light and fluffy. I would jump up and down--just because I could!

Right now, I'm feeling like I'm just a few steps away from Go. I was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis this week , so I'm struggling with that. I guess that explains why weight loss has been so difficult. And my perspective on weight loss has certainly changed. Less vanity/more health.

I made it to the pool again today! Lucky for me, there are several indoor community pools around, one close to home with a heated, warmer pool --great for RA. (I'm fighting this RA as much as fat!) Only $4 per day, but once I can establish a manageable routine during the work week, I can buy a yearly pass for ~$180. If I go 3X per week, that's a little more than $1 per day. I'm hoping I can keep up the routine. I have to.
