Hello everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well and sticking to their defined plans!

I just started Nutrisystem Simply Fresh..I'll keep you posted!

When I started in April I used Personal Trainer Food and successfully loss 30lbs -- along with exercise.

I cannot cook, so I'm learning that prepared meals and plans work best for me. I do not do well with bars and shakes. Over the last 2 months I ate frozen Atkin meals, Smart Ones and Lean Cuisine along with exercise. With this I was able to maintain....but I still need to lose...thus Nutrisystem Simply Fresh. Pretty good food, lots of food and VERY filling!

On my way to step aerobics!!!

LGW - Welcome back - Your new picture is lovely!

Jenni - 2 lbs. a week is a good loss. I wish I could send you a weight loss fairy to bump it up, I know how it can be discouraging when you want more, but just look at how much you have lost in the last 2 months!!
Have you tried increasing your water ? I have found that when my daily water intake is less than 4 litres (around a gallon?), the weight loss seems to slow down. I pack my 1 litre bottle with me just about everywhere I go.

I am down 0.8 from yesterday to 154.8

Jude...I don't know how I could drink more. I drink a gallon EVERY day! If I drank more I would have to have a straw attached to me...LOL Great job on your loss!

jollyjude -- thanks!

I tend to hold onto water....so I always do tea and low calorie drinks. On the days I drink lots of water, if I'm not in the restroom all day....I see it on the scale the next day....

Morning y'all.

We're all under the weather at our home. Just a simple cold, but it's hitting me really hard this time for some reason. Despite the sickies, I tried to stay focused this weekend. Down to 193.8 for me this morning.

Just checking in to say hi! I have not been actively working on this, but I have not gained anything either. Absolutely cannot keep up with life right now, frustrates me! So much work, personal stuff, and everything in between - just like all of us here! Just wish a life fairy would waltz in and slow time down and make life relaxed - just for a day!!

Has anyone used any of the activity monitors and had success?? There's quite a few on the market - FitBit, Nike Fuel, Vivo, etc. Any suggestions or experiences??

Heaven forbid I sustain a loss. Up 0.9 to 194.7. Ate pretty well yesterday, perhaps a lack of water. Need to up the water and flush out the toxins that are making me sick. Ugh.

Catching up from 9/19

Sarah, hope the Just for TODAY, days were a success. My guess is that it is only part hunger and part stress-relief. <-- this is probably true ... my stress level is off the chain most days until I hit that clock and I am out of there. I do need to make a plan and stick to it. I'm sure I could get some of this weight off if I could just discipline myself. Sarah love the positivity --> I will check in tomorrow and tell you how I made good choices. you're an inspiration Sarah glad you did well overall on your weekend away

Vi, the great thing about TOM is that it stills your joy on the scale momentarily but then it's gone No worries Vi, just so you won't have a scale shocker after you meal at the casino on the 10/1. In my experience that one meal can have so much of the wrong spices/seasons that the sodium in it will give you a crazy water gain. But like you said since the name of the restaurant is Fresh maybe that's an indicator of good things Have you googled to see their menu yet? Vi nice whoosh sorry you were feeling ill, hope you are better now

Thanks Jenni tell your husband Thank you for his service. ... Good job on the new decade, Yay YOU You said you were down, I hope your spirits have been lifted I'm with you on the tired. I am off today so I do plan to get a nap in You are doing great, 2lbs a week, keep up the great work

Jude look at you go you were 159 on the 19th and your ticker says 155 so you doing your Thang Keep up the great work The only veggie I don't like cooked is celery, it looks like it would be slimy to me, so I don't dare try it. Jude and Jenni I know if I ate them raw they'd be so much better for me. I do like all greens though (collards, turnip, mustard, kale) so that's a plus and spinach raw or cooked Jude, LOL on the hop-a-long at least you try, good for you (it's not wishful, when you do it, you ARE doing it, even if it ends in a hop . I was just starting to give running a shot and I thought I was improving each time then I started this job. My son-in-law has started running, he loves it. Hopefully one day I'll join him and my son Jude, thanks for the reminder, I have fish in the freezer nice loses there Lady Jude that is true about the water. Now that you say it that may very well be part of my issue. I don't always have access to a bathroom (or should I say one the I can get to that I know of) so I don't drink all of my water during the day. And like Kukkie, I have drank water in the evening to make up and it gives me a gain in the morning not to mention wakes ME up at night And I just read LGW is the same way also ... can't win sometimes, smh.

Kukkie I remember when you started drinking the smoothies. I started also at your suggestion, with the warning that it looks like puke because of the spinach but doesn't change the flavor. That's an idea also that may help me. Hope it's helping you again. Kukkie patience My Dear you know it works Sorry you all are feeling well, but nice weigh in. Do you think the smoothies are kicking in? Sorry about the up this morning, feel better

Donna that's how I feel about my weight. I have seen the 150's but seem to veer more towards the low 160's. I feel like I am in maintenance as far as weight goes sticking between 158-161 but that also scares me because I know how easily the scale can go back up. I need to change things up also.

LGW, nice avatar, pretty Please keep us posted on NutriSystem Fresh. I have thought about trying the one for diabetics that Walmart carries.

akelly I've been working six day a weeks since July for the most part so I feel you. Today is the second time I have had a day off other than Sunday. I have a few things I need to do but I do plan to mainly relax and get a nap in before my talkative Rissa comes home from school. I've wanted a fitbit for quite sometime but I noticed Walmart also has a bunch of fitness tracker also near the exercise items, I think two track sleep also. And at Walmart you can return them if they are not what you want.

Candidcamster where are you? Hope all is well

as I said above it seems that I am maintaining. I'm gonna try the smoothies again also and possibly a heavier drive home snack. Hoping next month is better and I can get into the 150's and stay there for the month

Jenni - Great loss for the month

Rennie - Good to see you check in. Maintaining is sometimes what we need for a while until we get things on track again. Hope you get things moving downward soon. Thanks for starting our new October thread

I have been stalled in the mid 150's for the last 3 days at 154.8. My water intake was down a bit yesterday and the day before, so I am trying to up it today. I have been battling a very sore throat and runny nose hoping it won't turn into a raging cold.

Total loss for the month - 10.4 lbs!!!
