10 pounds away from having lost half of my body weight!!!
 

Hi Folks,

I thought I would post to keep myself encouraged. I am 10 pounds away from being half the person I used to be. As my weight loss slows down, it is more challenging to stay motivated. I have all of you at 3FC, especially the 100 pound club, to help keep me going. I would love to post some pictures here but but am not sure how. A PM would be appreciated.

P.S. My next shopping trip I will have to go to the Misses department. I am at the bottom of the Woman's sizes. When that happens, you will hear me yelping all the way from Minnesota. it has been almost 40 years since that was the case!!!

It's thrilling to realize you've lost half your body weight and can shop in the Misses section. The first time I was able to do that, I actually sat down in the dressing room and cried. It had been over 20 years for me and I just couldn't believe it.

The 100 pound forum is great; it's still my favorite even as a maintainer. We will be cheering you on!

And, the best of all? When we are plus sized, we have to shop in the "women's section" but once you are misses-- you can just shop anywhere!

Thanks to all for your kind words. My favorite weight loss moment to date is when my cardiologist thought he was in the wrong exam room. He did not recognize me! Trudging the road of happy destiny.
