Work week is almost over in 6 hours! Thankfully! What a stressful week; but on the positive side, I have remained on plan all 4 days of traveling, ran 4 miles total between Tues and Wed, and have had a major whoosh on the scale to reward me! Went from 241.3 to 236.7 since Monday. Of course it's mostly water weight from TOM but hey - pounds are pounds!

kukkie, hope peanut is feeling better! Great mindset- you can always go back down, just don't ever quit the game completely!

lotsakids, great progress and lots of walking! Good for you!

patchwork, wow that's a lot to do in 1 project! I agree on the under-mounted sinks, so much cleaner and nicer. Sorry to hear about the car troubles - when money gets ready to go out, it always goes in droves for some reason!

jollyjude, wow 3 weeks vacation! I don't know if I would ever be able to return, ha!

lili, that's a crazy awesome WHOOSH!!!!! congrats!! Conquering this weekend with a loss or at least maintaining my loss from the work week is my goal too. We can do it!

Rennie, haven't seen you post this week yet- hope everything is going well

Hi everyone!
Down 1 lb. to 174.8 this morning.

akelly - Wow, great loss - who cares how you get it!!!

lili - Great loss for you too. I am really hoping to lose 5 lbs. for August, as I have a wedding to go to out of town on the 9th. Let's encourage each other and do this together!!

Kukkie - Great attitude. We have all suffered setbacks, and we have all had those comebacks to get past them. You can do it!

Penguin - I hear you!! I am hoping for stress free today.
Yesterday first thing, I wiped out on the supermarket floor on a puddle of water I didn't see - just like in the cartoons when they slip on a banana peel and go way up in the air and right back down. Nothing graceful about it, and of course there was an audience
Then I ended up having a back tooth pulled after last weeks unsuccessful and painful root canal. I couldn't wait 3 weeks to see the specialist, so I called my dentist to just pull it, and he got me in right away. It bled a lot longer than it should have, but has stopped now and doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did with the tooth there.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Lotsakids--love the new photo! And yesterday's lunch sounds yummy.

Food yesterday was good, but no time for exercise. I will go for a walk this afternoon between work and my evening activities.

I hate working harder in the gym only to see a gain the next morning! I know it is temporary and there are all types of factors as to why it happens, but still.. SO DISCOURAGING! Have a great weekend all!

Down 0.6 from yesterday to 174.0.

Lili - I find I usually gain a little the day after really strenuous exercise, but I try to re-hydrate well, and it usually comes off plus more after about a day. Hope that happens for you too!

Kukkie - have a good and focused weekend!

Ok catching up from page 7 ... 7/20

LGW on the new decade I've always wanted to try step aerobics, have fun

Sarah, you're the sweetest. this week has been different. When I get home I'm so tired I surely don't want anything heavy and when I'm at work, I can only eat what I bring and I have 30 minutes ... before 2pm so sometimes it's shorter but it works Still reading but I hope you had a nice weigh in Glad you had fun with your friend

Kukkie, yes you do have this Hope Peanut is better Kukkie sorry about the lunch outing being canceled. I hope you found something good (OP) to eat. ... oops chips, my weakness also. You'll get back on track, you always do Kukkie glad to see the scale moving down for you, have a great weekend ... see you next week

lili still reading but I hope you got back to the grilled chicken dinners and the water weight is gone Oh my goodness lili, I so wish I could have joined you for the crab feast. I love blue crab. I miss that about living up north. I could get them whenever I wanted lili I agree with you on the scale after a great workout, maddening

Wow Penguin, how do you feel about moving? Will it be far from your parents? Penguin for no stress days

akelly, that doesn't mean you aren't going to post here anymore? I hope that's not what you mean. I have all of my old journals also. I did both for a while after I discovered 3FC. It is interesting what worked before. I don't think it would work for me this time though. I ate a lot of frozen meals (didn't pay attention to sodium in 2010-2011). Nice whoosh Every things going well, my only day off is Sunday so I can catch up on Saturday evening since I don't have to go to bed early

Donna love the new avatar Pretty, Love the hair cut and color. Good for your friend and though it's hard, she deserves better. I could write a book on this subject. smh ... I don't know what goes through peoples heads. Glad she has you for a friend bless her. Plank challenge go you Donna lunch sounded good on the 24th

Jude I believe you will do fine at the wedding Like I've been told eat the good healthy stuff then if you have room had a small piece of the cake/dessert. Just a thought Enjoy your vacation Nice whoosh Oh my goodness Jude, I hope you're ok? Did they manager say anything at the supermarket? Glad that tooth is gone and not going to give you anymore trouble. Sorry about the excessive bleeding, that happens to me also when I have a tooth pulled. Nice loss today

Well I've had a pretty productive week scale wise. I get so hot and sweaty it's a great workout. My arms are getting stronger and I have managed to lose all of the weight I gained during my binges. I am actually at my ticker weight again after seeing 166 this month. Hoping to end this month at 155. Then next month I want to hit my name goal of 150 (love to be 150 ) that would be a treat. I am hoping to be at my all time goal of 132 by December 31. As long as I can control myself on Sunday's I'll be straight

Rennie--Congrats on the loss and I'm so glad that work is proving to be a good thing and that the scale is rewarding you with all your hard work! Soon you're going to have to change your name as 150 comes and goes!
Lili--I hope the scale has done a better job of showing your efforts.
JollyJude--keep up the good work...you're so close to your goal!

I had a decent weekend. Not enough exercise, but better than the last few weekends. This is proving to be a slow process for me and I'm trying to not get frustrated. My fall schedule will be more open and give me more time to exercise...I just have to make it through August without "giving up" and then hopefully I can be more consistent.

I had a nice whoosh on Sunday, but then a bunch of factors collided with a gain this morning. However it is an overall loss from Friday, so I'll take it. 193.3 this morning. We have a new team member joining us today, so we're going out for lunch. The good news is that I forgot and so what I made for lunch, I can have for dinner without having to worry about it when I get home.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Rennie good to see you

So my birthday is today (turning 28 on the 28th so has to be a lucky year right??)..celebrated this weekend. Did keep a loss for last week of 3 pounds, so that's good to me! Worked out 3 times for a total of 6 miles jogged. My best week in a while. My team took me out to dinner tonight and the hotel had cake waiting for me in my room, soooo today derailed! Back on track tomorrow and continue losing!!

Rennie, glad to see you back Congrats on the loss and getting to ticker weight!!

Kukkie, great silver lining positivity!

Sarah, nice work! Consistency is the key. Once you and I achieve that, we will be unstoppable! Ha

jude, 174 nice! I cannot wait to be in those numbers! Hope you are recovering from the supermarket fall. Was there any signage around the wet area? If not, that's extremely dangerous and leaves them wide open to legal issues! Hope you are not hurt.

lili, yes I too cannot stand when the scale bounces up after I've laid it all in the gym or on the trail. Frustrating but have to hope the new muscle helps me in the long run!

Happy belated Birthday akelly! Despite the derailment, I hope you had a fabulous day! Back on track today. Go get 'em.

I have to stop going to lunches with my team. The whole team, fine. But the random lunches with colleagues just because, I think I need to stop. I do well for a few days, and then that one lunch causes me so much grief. I brought my own food today, so good for me. But I'm just annoyed. I went through 4 different outfits today, because I absolutely did not like the way anything looked on me.

I haven't had a very healthy week but somehow managed to lose a pound.

Happy Birthday Kelly!!!

Rennie, I'm not upset about moving, but we need to talk more about where to move to, and all the fun stuff about purging, cleaning, fixing, and putting on the market. Apparently, Hubby hadn't intended to tell me until he had done more research, to present it in a better light.

Donna, nice Avatar shot.

ETA: My Dad had a Dr appointment today and found that Back Surgery is in his future, to fuse a few L's together. He's not sure when yet, but recovery is going to be 6 months of 'taking it easy', not his favorite thing.

Happy birthday akelly!!!!! I hope your day was great. Yes, 28 on the 28th should make for a magical year. When is your London trip? Is it this year or next?
Kukkie I have had a slew events, lunches, dinners, parties, etc., this summer and as much as I like the social aspect, I feel like you do...it just gets old to do well for a few days then go out and undo all the hard work. And we all understand going through outfits till you find something that you don't hate. Hang in there.
Penguin--lucky you! Just think how good next week can be if you do have a healthy week.

Today was my weigh in day. 219. Boy it's going slowly, but it's better than going up. And we're going away this weekend, so eating well will probably be a challenge. I hope I don't end up going back up into the 220s next week.

Ha Sarah, thanks ... I sure hope so I seem to be stuck at 157 point something. I have never seen 156 (that I can remember anyway) Sure would be nice. How are you doing? Are you doing the just for today? Please don't get frustrated and definitely don't give up. If you need me to come in here just to say, "hey Sarah!" I can do that and I know how well the accountability here works and when the threads slow down it seems like a bummer when you are talking to yourself (I've done that more times than a few here over the years ) Good luck with your eating this weekend Tell the 220's NO MORE

Thanks Kukkie YAY for whooshes I'd like to have one good 3lb one soon Glad your lunch and dinner yesterday fell well together. I love when that happens How's Peanut? better I hope. Kukkie that happens to me also, just one off point meal messes with the numbers (all bloat) and it is quite frustrating ... but it does get better when we get back OP thank goodness. You've got this

akelly it's good you enjoyed your birthday. Thanks on the weight loss and back at cha

Penguin how nice to have a loss with an off plan week, ditto what Sarah said, you'll come down more eating ON POINT I'm sure

I'm holding at 157 point something so I don't think I'll get my wish for 155 by Thursday unless I get one of you all's whooshes Sending everyone :

Here's the new thread for August ...
