a REALLY different exercise class!
 

Did anyone watch 48 Hours tonight? (yes, pathetic, in watching tv on a Saturday night)

I put it on to watch the weight loss stories-they had Ann Wilson from Heart, which was great.

Then they had a story on a new exercise class craze-pole dancing....(use your imagination). No removal of clothing is involved, though. The classes are women only. The classes were started by an actress who played a stripper in a movie, and noticed what great shape she was in afterwards.

Not anything I'd try myself, but it was definitely an interesting story. The classes are popular in California.

I'm pathetic too and was also watching TV tonight. I did see that segment and I thought it looked like so much fun!!! I can't imagine that they'll be offering it at our local YMCA though!!

When belly-dancing exercise classes started, some people said the same thing. /grin And I'm sure they started out all the rage in California, too. (Seems CA must have its hands in every new craze. Didn't Spinning come out of CA? Tae Bo?)

Sounds like fun. But I can't imagine installing a pole into the middle of my basement to do the home video...
