Hi ladies- mind if I join you? I'm just starting out- AGAIN... after losing 78 lbs. in 2012, and gaining it all back plus some after pregnancy. I weighed 318 at one point in May at the doctor's, I think my scale is slightly off from theirs, but I am not so focused on the number more than I am seeing it go down anyway. I started daily weighing yesterday at 313.2. I feel awful and can't wait to see these pounds melt away! When I weighed in this morning I lost exactly one pound- so at 312.2 now. Eating has been really good so far. It's like my body has been craving healthier foods, I have NO urge to eat fast food or drink soda as of yet. Yesterday my husband and I went to the grocery store with both kids in tow (what a disaster! lol) and bought a ton of healthy foods- lots of veggies, fruits, and some meat for the week. I forgot how expensive it was to eat healthy, we spent $100! Anyway- for dinner I grilled some chicken and sauteed some green beans in olive oil and minced garlic. It was so good! Today for breakfast I had a banana and some grapes. I have a yummy lunch of 1/2 whole wheat pita with leftover grilled chicken, half a slice of cheese, avocado and tomato slices... with 6 or 7 mini rice cakes (about 1/2 a serving) and some cucumber salad (cucumber with light sour cream, salt and pepper). Dinner tonight is grilled chicken caesar salads with light caesar dressing. My daughter isn't thrilled about it, she doesn't care for salad- but I am determined to take control of this family's health- so I hope she will try it out! I have been drinking a ton of water also. Feeling better already- have a great day!

Hi All!

I'm not sure what was up with me but I gained. I never had a plan and I don't plan on having a plan plan. I do plan on eating healthy and slowly turning to a plant based diet. I was back up to 326 and not sure why I was hitting the gym and exercising tons, lots of water and eating pretty good but it just went up. So now I'm on track. I'm seeing a life coach, someone new this time. I went away to a retreat with my girls and we attended a motion theater workshop with Nina Wise if you are at all interested. It turned out to be an amazing weekend of opening up and I got so much closer to my girls and I came out of my shell. I preformed and did not hesitate. I'm 39 and finally finding myself and I'm finding that I enjoy my body again. We did yoga everyday at the retreat so it got me back on track. Just feeling good and ready to let this weight go.

I hope it's OK to wake this thread up again!

I'm really close (like... 2 weeks out, maybe?) to breaking out of the 300s! How's everybody else doing?

Hi everyone! I hope it's okay if I join in! I've restarted my efforts again this past Monday, so it's day 3 on plan. My highest weight was 330, and I got down to 280, so it's frustrating to be losing the same weight again. I feel more committed and eager to do this. I hope to be out of the 300s by the end of April. Gonna work my butt off to get there!

Hi Ladies,
I've just restarted as well. It's been a week but I'm starting slow this time. I haven't changed my ticker but I was about 324 last week. I'll have to go weigh myself, maybe today at the gym if they still have a scale or at the clinic today, I have dr appt. I haven't had a scale in awhile, so I plan on getting a new one sometime soon.
I'm just started back to the gym last week. I started walking again about a month ago. I'm hoping to go no carb no sugar soon and my husband is going to join me. I am diabetic, have been for about two years.
I've been working with a wellness/life coach for about two years as well. I feel good mentally but now I need to get the weight off.

Hope no one minds if I resurrect this thread. I am back here a year later... At least my weight did not go up over the past year! Anyway, I still have the scale that won't read over 304... I checked my sister's scale in June and was 314 then. I know I have lost some weight since then based on how my rings fit and how my clothing fits. I am back on plan and am working to get out of the 300s!!

Hey Karen, sound great!

I'm stuck in a loop myself. I need a break through, a kick in the butt, something. Same 5lbs over and over for months now. I have diabetes and I know that is making it so much harder. But I'll keep at it. I would like to keep this thread going as well.

Hey ladies new to this forum hoping to lose 100lbs+ .... I had success with LAWL years ago, since I've tried several other diet plans and none have been as effective. I'm getting back on the wagon Monday after some shopping and an overhaul of my pantry. I really need support as weight loss has been a struggle for me my whole life. I've decided enough is enough I'm the heaviest I've ever been at 318 currently (just brought a scale). I know my truth and am finally ready to begin my journey again. All tips and encouragement is appreciated!!

Hello and Happy New Year to all! Ohhhh I have really fallen off the wagon (Stress for me is such a trigger) I have gained back 107 of the 111 I lost sigh... and now back in the 300's again after 4 years. Time for attitude adjustment and to concentrate on me (as noone else can take care of me, besides me LOLOLOLOLOL)..

Tomorrow I weigh in and and get started of working to Twoderland. My short term goal.. and laughing more... Skipping will have to wait until I get into the 2 teens (I did skip 2 years ago!) again.

May everyone have a terrific and happy and more importantly, a healthy New Year!
