Got back to Fast 5 yesterday and lost 2 lbs. I'm actually 0.4 lbs less than when i left on vacation. I was hoping for a loss this morning but 2 lbs exceeded my expectations. Have a great weekend all.

Scale said 237.2 this morning and I feel totally motivated to kick my butt back in gear. I'm officially exactly half way through my ticker goal!!!

I'm going to recommit to the gym (yea, I've been slackin a little) and I've tweaked my diet just a little. Same calorie intake, different foods.

I'm going on a 3 day trip in the middle of June and my goal is 225 by then.. I might actually make it. 12 more pounds!

Hello chickies!

What a gorgeous weekend it is on the East Coast! Great weather to get out for a bike ride.

Glad to hear things are moving in the right direction for you, wvuchick and CharityMarie,

237 today. I am so thrilled with my progress so far. I know it won't always be so quick, but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Going to get back to just weighing myself on Wednesday again, especially since I'm going hard at the gym again, I'm sure I'll retain a little water from my muscles stretching and drinking way more water! I also decided to buy a new bike (mines 10 years old and I havnet used it in about 10 years lol)

There are so many lovely bike trails around here, so if I drive to the gym in the morning and feel like getting outside in the afternoon I'll have a bike! I'm excited

Happy Sunday all! I spent a lovely day with the DD. We went to the park and walked 4 miles.

Well I'm down two days and now up today. I really think it's because I had to wake up 3 hours earlier than yesterday. I'm thinking I should just start weighing in officially on Saturdays.

I'm 2.6 lbs away from my May goal of 7 lbs lost. I am hoping for a whoosh to get there this week. I actually thought 7 lbs was a lofty goal since I was going on a mini vacation last week, but now I am looking to meet that goal!

I'm so tired this morning after a week off from work, but I am glad in a way to be back. It is so much easier to fast when I'm at work.

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Wanna - We are close to the same weight and height. Hopefully we'll get there together. My ultimate goal is 145 but I would be very happy with 160 too.

Thanks for the welcome, wanna, and welcome to the thread and the board, vanessa!

234.5 today! I can't believe how things have been going for me this go round. Usually I fight for every pound ( PCOS ). I spent a year at the same weight.

This time I'm averaging 3 lbs a week. I don't know what's different this time except I'm older and fatter. Whatever it is, I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Default PCOS and trying to lose weight

Hi to everyone! I just found this website and must say it's extremely encouraging to see an amazing community together reaching for a common goal. On that note, I have struggled with PCOS since I was 18 and I've always known it's been tied to my weight. I've done the unthinkable and most recently I even had lap band surgery. Much to my dismay, the band slipped and had to be removed. Well, guess what, I am back to losing weight the old-fashioned way. I am undergoing a doctor supervised program and so far I've lost 25 pounds in about 6 weeks. I am hoping that by December I get to my goal weight.

The reason for doing this is simply that I would love to be able to get pregnant and have a child. I just got my period again after 6 months. Before lapband surgery I had not been regular for 10 years and when I starting gaining weight after the surgery I became irregular again.

At any rate I'm so excited because this is the promise of something amazing. To anyone that has PCOS, please reach out to me. I've been struggling with this for a long time and can provide a bit of knowledge, experience and encouragement. We ALL can do with a dose of that.

Good luck to everyone trying to lose weight!!

Well I guess my scale likes to make a fool of me. A day after saying I'll only weight in on Saturdays I weigh in today at 229. A pound down from yesterday and .4 lbs less than my (this time around) low.

Welcome Vanessa and Shado. Good luck on your weight loss journey.

3 lbs a week is awesome Streudel. Blows my 1.5 lb average week's loss out of the water. Way to go!!!!
