Night School Starts Monday
 

I am really anxious about school starting Monday night. I keep giving myself pep talks "you can do it" - "anyone can do anything for nine months" - "It will not be that difficult and you will enjoy learning something new and exciting".

But deep down that little voice keeps saying you have bitten off way more than you can handle at your age and with your responsibilities so give up now before you make a fool of yourself.

Will someone please get that little voice some xanax, liqour, and chocolate so she will shut the fuk up? Because I am going to do this whether I believe I can or not!

You can do it! Make sure you eat good nutritious food to be properly 'fueled' and rest whenever possible as much as you can. Good luck!

So far so good. I was overwhelmed the first few days but my body seems to be adjusting well to my 13 hour days! I passed my first test in anatomy I made a 90! Wooo Hooo

Congratulations on your exam! Starting anything new can be anxiety producing. I started law school in my late 50's. Yikes!!!! It has been so challenging, but it truly, really is" one day at a time". Good luck and congratulations on getting started.

School is going well except for the gaining 5 pounds and being exhausted all the time. I will work it out by the end of April I hope.
