I have and the first time I tried it, I definitely took breaks, modifications and could not use weights at first, lol. I still have yet to complete it, thee was always something preventing me from finishing it. My goal is to complete the whole thing.

You will see results body-wise, scale, not so much. I love it and would recommend it to anyone

Good luck!!!

MandyLamy, I commend you for doing this series of workouts. I tried it for the first time today, and I found it very demanding, especially since I haven't exercised at all in close to a year now. I did have to modify some exercises, for example I can't do push ups of any kind on the floor, not even on my knees (knees hurt), so I do them standing up against a wall. But I stuck with it till the end and I'm glad I did. Keep us posted on your progress and results!

Mandy- don't be nervous. If anything, I thought Level 2 was easier for me and I started out with that because I couldn't even get through Level 1, lol. But this time I will be starting with the first level.

Keep up the great work, you're doing awesome!

Thanks for doing this and posting regular updates, Mandy. I've been thinking about trying it out soon and it's a huge help to hear of someone else's results

I never made it past level 1. LOL. It was like I never did level 1 without any modifications and taking breaks here and there. I think it was a mixture of being afraid to have my butt kicked if I moved up to level 2, and barely surviving my level 1 sessions.

I just read somewhere that you should change your workout up every 4 weeks or so, and Friday will finish up my 4th week of all Zumba workouts. I think I might do this next! I don't really get much strength training benefits out of Zumba, so this might be good for a change of pace.

Thanks Mandy for your updates, I have only been considering this program for the past, like, year because I was afraid I would suffer through it and not see results, but you restore my faith! That is some awesome progress for just 10 days! Keep it up girl!

Say what!? I feel like I have been kept from the gold of pot at the end of the rainbow. Why, oh why? Why is Level 1 harder? What the heck?

I will try it again when I shed all my weight. Ideal Protein doesn't require a lot of work out and I'm okay with that because I'm a couch potato. LOL. That's why I chose IP! But I will get to that at one point; right now I'm okay doing my squat challenge.

I tried it today and did Level 1 and Level 2 one after the other. It’s very intense, sweat ran down my face and back and legs in less than 10minutes! On her website it says, that you burn 3,267kcal per pound per hour in the 30-day shred. Sounds great!

Even though I liked the workout a lot and I’ll be doing it again soon, I’m not as fond of Jillian as a person. She has a face that makes her look kind of angry all the time (maybe it’s the eyebrows?) and she seemed a little abusive to me in The Biggest Loser. Maybe they made her look that way, I don’t know. Plus, in the video she keeps saying, she’s not flexible – I’m not sure what’s up with that. It doesn’t make me feel good about my flexibility at all.

Do you think the 30-days in the title indicate that you have to do it every day or just 30 times (not very far apart)? I have this information in my head that you are not supposed to do the same work out two days in a row, because it’s not optimal for growing muscle and can lead to injury. If nothing else, I get tired of the same video over and over – so I think she had a good idea to make three levels of the shred.

Thanks, MandyLamy! You're doing even a better job with sticking to it. I was so sore the next day I had troubles getting out of bed in the morning. I think I’ll do it 2-3 times per week and other exercises in between.
