I'm not really sure what the question here is. Do you eat in the middle of the night (and worry about the rule about don't eat after 8p sort of thing?) Or you eat till midnight but wake up hungry?
Either way, depending on your hours, your body doesn't know what time it is. I think the cut off like don't eat after 8p is to prevent mindless eating. I work nights. I eat from 8-mornings. It doesn't affect my weight loss. Just make sure you are eating at a calorie deficit and you are golden! Good luck
