Hello guys!

Silverfire lasagna sounds amazing! Yum

Streudel I just need to change my way of thinking when I eat out. Yes, I deserve to treat myself, but just not all the time. LOL Need to practice self control, especially since I do like salads, grilled chicken, etc.

Karin have you tried skinnytaste.com or theyummylife.com?

Ladies on my official weigh in day the scale graced me with 240 even! So close to moving threads, which doesnt really mean anything in the "real world" but its sort of a great feeling accomplishment to move down in the decade threads here!! I'll try and refrain from the scale for a few days so that if it goes up for any fluctuating reason I dont get bummed, and then maybe in 3-4 days it'll really say 239 !!

So I have been sitting around the 249.8 and 249.9 for a little while and I figured I would jump in. I've no idea if I will drop any time soon so I may as well make myself known!

Where have I been?!? So excited to try out some of these recipes.

Silver fire, I do a lot of stir fries (love spicy sesame oil from Korean market for spice). I also tend to use a lot of sriacha (sp?) sauce and salsa on my lean meats and veggies.

249.9 by the skin of my teeth! Phew! And that was after a big meal out! I skipped dessert this time even.

I was going to suggest skinnytaste.com too, I don't know if I've been to the other one, I'll have to check it out too

Karin - What if you tried making your own spice blends, salsa's and marinades? You'll have the simplicity of making your usual eats but with a broader range of flavors! Just jazz up what you already like

Waving bye to you Charity as you switch decades, but not for long. We will hopefully be joining you soon.

Karin, I have tried the cilantro lime rice, turkey nachos, and zucchini enchila boats from skinnytaste and loved them. I love the overnight oatmeal smoothies from theyummylife.

Silverfire great job on skipping dessert. I have a hard time with that sometimes. LOL

I did not weight this morning as I got up late. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Ahhh! I have been so off plan these last two weeks. I weight in yesterday at 249.5 so I have definitely done some damage. But I am ready to get back on track. I have just been so swamped that thinking about eating well and exercise has been on the peripheral and I have had a lot of stressors that have made me reach toward food. . . not an excuse I know.

Was super upset because about 2 weeks ago I dropped my fitbit into a toilet and alas it could not be saved! But, my hubby has expressed interest in getting one and my sister happens to work at an electronics store that sells them. So I am going to see what kind of a discount she could get and have her buy me two Flexes, one for me and one for my hubby if the discount is good enough!

I also convinced a good friend to join the gym I go to! Yay for work out buddies.

Ok, so I SAIIID I wasnt going to weigh for a few days so I could be pleased at seeing 239 on the scale and you know what? I stepped on that darn thing today. Not bad news, still 240.2 but I guess if I'm having willpower with food that losing it a little with obsessive scale stepping isnt the WORST thing I could be doing. Alright, for reals this time, I'm not getting on the scale until Saturday!

MandyLamy! We've missed you! So glad to see you back!

Charity, here's hoping we see you soon!

I was at 247 after spring break, then I started exercising again and I bounced up to 249.6. Argh. What a reward for getting back on plan with diet and exercise! :-/

I have been good with food, though it was hard the first couple days (I agree that is harder to restart than to just start).

So excited about doing some shopping and trying out new recipes, particularly the refrigerator oatmeal smoothie things. That looks so easy in the morning and tasty too!

Well I've landed here now. After gaining a crazy amount over the past two weeks I still need to get back outta this thread just to be where I started with this pregnancy.

Why does bad food taste so yummy?!

248.8 today.

Soooooooo....April was a terrible month for me! After being sick and then just generally falling OP, I was seeing numbers like 256 again and I got really discouraged. BUT this past week and some change, I said enough was enough!! I've been seeing 249 and I'm officially moving over here.

I'm ready to be OUT of these 240s and around 239 for June! Good luck and way to go for everyone moving down to the next thread.

Holding pattern at 249.x. :-(. Hoping a whoosh will come along and get me back to where I was before break. In the meantime...off to exercise and meal plan...
