Took a few months off....

  • I finally decided to brave the home scale today and it only read 236.4. That's about 6 pounds or so since I took my break. Considering I stopped IF, eating emotionally and binging, I'm impressed with myself. It probably helps that I've been working 6 days out of the week instead of a 5 days off (which means walking 8k-10k). And I've been in the middle of a move which is more activity than lazying around. Although I had to go to the UTC a week ago and the scale read 248 there. I was freaking out inside. Feel a lot better now!

I'm motivated to get back on track. I know how much better I feel when I am tracking my weight and now I am totally in control of my food. Moved out two weeks ago and I'm starting to feel much better than I have in years. No one here to complain about my healthy food spending. I don't think I really internalized how much my ex was making me feel miserable. Right now I'm just starting IF/eating windows. I'll pondering going back to my 5:2 in a few weeks depending how I feel. I'm still very much in boxes and don't feel like stressing myself too much on super-weight-loss-mode. Just being aware of what I am eating. I hope to mostly unpack soon so I can start hooping again.
  • Welcome back!!! Only 6 lbs is amazing!!! ( I gained n lost n gained 50 -60 sigh)

Great job keeping the general lifestyle changes in check, this next bit will fly by.
  • Thanks! I am pretty amazed that in just 2 months it was only 6 pounds. Although I woke up super early today and IF seems soooo hard at the moment. I forgot how much an adjustment IF was in the beginning.
  • It is always amazing to me how we let others tear us down. Granted, I don't know what your situation was but, you mentioned an ex so I assumed. Anyway, you did well only gaining back 6 pounds and now, you're back and on the right track. You will do wonderfully, I just know it!
  • Welcome back and good luck on your journey!!
  • Thanks!
  • Good job and welcome back!
