Back after a few chaotic travel weeks--gained 4 lbs in three days of walking all over Boston (but hey--I climbed the Bunker Hill Memorial! All 294 steps! I couldn't have done that three months ago!).
Turned around and went home to my parents' for Easter a week later. . . lost my extra four pounds while eating bratwurst, spaghetti, and candy, and not touching a piece of exercise equipment all 10 days.
I may in fact be a medical mystery . . . but at least the ticker didn't move in the *wrong* direction.
Got home Sunday night and promptly hied myself hence to the gym for an AMAZING WORKOUT. (I've been struggling a bit with some tendonitis in my knee, and the time off let it cool down, I think.)
Meetup with the trainer tonight should be interesting.
I want to explore some 6-week challenge ideas. Running/endurance challenges aren't medically wise for me, and the trainer has a plan in place for weight training, so I think maybe I want to find something core-strength or agility related.
Anyone have suggestions? I am horribly un-graceful, so I need something that can start from a baseline zero in ability.
