Hi all. Just checking in. Keeping on track, exercising and tracking calories. Just not feeling it this week for some reason. Kinda blah today. But, not an excuse to indulge in bad habits.

Diane--hope you are feeling perkier today!

I'm doing pretty well--my scale moved a tiny bit this morning to 280.0, despite having tuna fish for dinner last night. Sometimes the sodium from tuna makes my weight go up, but didn't seem to this time!

tomorrow is my official wiegh-in, but I can't help getting on the scale most mornings. Maybe I shouldnt, but as long as its good news, it helps motivate me.
Hello to everyone else--hope to hear how you are doing!

JzBelle: Going to be in the 270's any minute now! Good for you!

I'm doing better today. I'm not sure what my problem was the last couple of days. Just being crabby, I guess. I went to Spin class and I really like the Friday instructor. He's the only male instructor I have in any of my classes, so maybe that is why he stands out. But, he is really good. You get a really good workout, but he is so encouraging. It's nice to hear sometimes! I don't mind the instructors that do more of the drill sergeant techniques, but it is nice to end the week with a little positivity! Ha!

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Hi Diane-glad you are feeling better.

My one week weigh in is -3.5lbs since last Saturday. I will TAKE it!!!

Even though we had an ice storm Thursday/Friday, its sunny and in the 60's today. I'm ready for spring!

JzBelle: Nice!!! That's a great loss! I'm with you about being ready for spring. Now, just have to remember to set the clock forward!

Great day of workout today. I decided to kick it up a little today, so I went to a spin class and then did 30 minutes of lifting. Resting tomorrow!

wow, sounds like a great work out Diane! hope you are enjoying your rest day

ugh this time change thing makes me feel like I've lost the day already! Spent an hour trying to figure out why my cell phone didn't change time. About half the clocks in my house are on the old time, but the computer and a few others that update automatically are on the new time. so silly! but I do enjoy more light in the evenings.

I have to go find some lunch....
Hope more people check in soon!

JzBelle: We do need more people talking, don't we??! I'm glad you are posting or it would be really lonely! I'm with you on the time change. I love daylight savings time, but the first few days of it are a little rough!

Had a good weigh in today. Lost 2.4. This weight loss challenge at work has me really focused. I am trying extra hard so that I can win the money! I just need to remember that when it is over on 4/1, I still have to stay committed.

How is everyone?

Congrats on -2.4 diane!!!!

I'm dancing for me too, -1.5 today. I often don't seem to lose weight on the weekends, so I'm super pleased! My 1300 calorie program that I came up with for myself seems to be working pretty well for now!

I think I will earn my ability to have a ticker this week, I CANT WAIT!!!!

Good job JzBelle!!! Nice loss! It looks like what you are doing is right! That's always a good feeling.

I am trying to make the final push to 4/1 for my weight loss challenge here at work. I decided to add a little more exercise to the day. I work in a 4 story office with a basement. I'm on the second floor. So, twice a day, I want to walk the stairs. I'll go up 2 flights, then down all 4 flights, then up 2... back to my desk. I hope to get it to where I go down 2, then up all 4 at once, then back down 2. Since I almost died yesterday, I think it might take awhile to get to that point.

Diane--I have been strategically avoiding stairs at work for some time now. My excuse has been that in my building they are VERY Steep with metal on the front edge and I'm afraid of slipping on them. But I'm trying to at least go down the stairs more often, and UP at at least once in a while, lol....

Its a gorgeous spring day here today. Big cold front coming in tonight so I I'm going out now to enjoy the day! oh--scale is down another 0.5 lb this morning

JzBelle: I know. I hate stairs. Nothing good about stairs! I'm only doing it because I need to get off my backside occasionally and move away from my desk. I'm hoping that I'll get better at it. Congrats on the loss!

Not much else going on with me. I'm going to lunch with my son today, so I'll have to be careful. He's a senior in high school, on the track team (shotput and discus) and he's a football player, so he eats a lot. I have to remember that I'm not in sports, so I can't eat like he does!

Have a good day! How is everyone else doing? JzBelle and I are missing the chatter!

Glad to see you Diane! Hope you did well at your lunch with your son
I'm at work today even though it's spring break [I'm a teacher]. I'm catching up on the nasty "Annual Evaluation" forms we have to fill out every year. YUCK.

Back on track today--I was out yesterday and am pretty sure I went over my calories. Going to make some Quinoa with veggies and bits of turkey for dinner.

JzBelle: Lunch went fine. We had fun and I stayed on track. Too bad you had to do work over spring break!

Not much going on today. I went to Body Pump and it was good. Just chugging along.
