thankful today that I don't have glaucoma! It was suspected but the doctor today said I'm fine.

thankful that I can exercise, due to the wonder of gout medicine!

thankful for my wonderful family

a reminder from myself...
I have to fight the tendency of stinkin' thinkin' to give up because I'm not progressing. As long as I am still moving and watching what I put in my mouth then I am progressing no matter what the scale says.

- a wonderful visit with my best friend, Fran. She and her cute little dog are going home today. I am grateful for such a nice visit.

- nice fall weather

- heating pad

- the fall gardening is done

- despite the frosts, some things are still blooming in the garden. Cheerful

I'm grateful that today in class we're watching a movie.

Always grateful for coffee.

I'm thankful for this fantasy novel that I'm reading which is a lovely escape.

I'm grateful for my hula hoops and that I've nailed another trick, even though I hit myself in the face a few times doing it. :P

I'm grateful for today being Thursday. I don't have any classes tomorrow so I can relax.

I'm grateful that I have a five day weekend coming up this month.

I'm thankful for my awesome family who keeps me going.

I'm grateful for art and drawing, which gives me headaches but huge satisfaction when I finally understand a technique and create an improved drawing.

And...well that's already a long list and I could go on. ^.^

—chicken broth, which keeps me from getting salt-depleted on Atkins, and is so tasty!

—coffee with cream, Sweet Drops stevia, & vanilla extract: yummmm...

—the fascinating new book I got on the history of the English language
