+ a day with no appointments

+ lovely summer temperatures for working outside and for sleeping

+ spent some time yesterday making things for the freezer

+ sold my Sage50 software to my accountant

+ enjoying sorting through Dr. Mess's old papers about the Mill

+ baby skunks on my lawn this morning - cute but glad they moved off down the street

+ the black caps are ripening - a nice little treat on the way to the back garden

+ just got a call from a friend agreeing to assist in the schoolwork judging for the Fair early next week. Yippee!

+ grateful that the wedding at the Mill went well yesterday. It helped that the bride was an events planner

+ as usual, my dear wee Jazz who is so delighted to see me when I get home

+ having pre-prepped meats in the freezer ready to pop on the grill after thawing

+ the huge crop of kale I am getting from six plants

+ tiny Herb Robert growing in the lane - too often ignored

+ hot water and the time to soak in the tub this morning

-for being 85lbs lost in less than a year.
-for being able to tie my shoes without getting breathless.
-for being able to squat 40lbs.

+ the schoolwork entries in the Fair are now judged and ribboned - all 1000 of them

+ had yummy raspberries yesterday

+ weight is the same with no gain as expected

+ Doug was really appreciative of the New Yorkers I dropped off

+ my replacement glasses are ready - a week early!

+ had time for a nap yesterday afternoon - 20 minutes does it!

- I fell out of bed last night. (how does that happen????) I am a little sore in my shoulder and bruised on my arm. But, I think I am OK. Grateful.
