Hi SuperHeroTeacher

I'm ending September with a 1.8lb gain for the month. I did so well in the beginning of last week then a second TOM came and I blew it. Hopefully October will be better

Crab we live and we learn and at least you caught yourself. Pat yourself on the back for that, and move on to the new month. We can do it and to the thread, hope to see you on the October thread

I had to work almost two hours overtime so I came home and ate what my son had cooked, fried chicken thighs (2) and some corn pudding as he called it. He made some plain white corn for me but I added a serving spoon of his corn pudding to it so I'm sure it wasn't healthy at all. The good thing is with a high number at the start of the month it shouldn't be hard to have a low number at the end

Thank you, Rennie The more I lose and the better I feel, the more I know I could have accomplished this and more the last time I tried losing weight... if only my gall bladder hadn't kicked the bucket. :P Took my body forever to really get over the feeling of having had something of *its* taken out of it, you know?

I'm looking forward to October! And I think you're looking at the new month in just the right way as well



4 lbs and a bit and I reach my next mini-goal, yay!

How do you all reward yourself for that kind of thing, if you reward at all?

AKA: Sorry to hear that you are in pain. I hope the progesterone works well for you.

Fair and Free: I do plan on rewarding myself. It has worked well in the past. I bought a pandora style bracelet and I get a bead for every 10lbs. I also recently discovered gel polish manicures and I've told myself that I can get a manicure for each month I stay on-plan.

Today is day #2 of Southbeach Phase 1. Feeling pretty good mentally. Physically, I'm battling a nasty headcold or allergies. Not sure which it is, but will be so happy when it's over. Today is also my last day of vacation. Back to the grind tomorrow. I'm hoping that structured days will make it even easier to stay on-plan.
