Default NSV- Non scale victories!

Can we have a new thread for non-scale victories? Because I have one today I'm really proud of.

I went grocery shopping at 3 different stores today, and I stayed on my list and didn't get a single thing that wasn't on plan. That will make staying on plan at work this week so much easier.

I hope my boyfriend likes low-carb Primal diet, because unless he does some shopping and cooking that's what he's going to be eating.

So come on, fellow Chicks. What are your non-scale victories this week?

Yay, an NSV thread!

Mine were running 1.20 miles today (22 mins) and biking 6.61 minutes (25 mins). I have run for 11 days in a row and I am super happy about that.

Great stuff, Hellonurse!

I can fit into the chair at work easily now! This is the same chair that was so tight during the interview that I ended up sitting on the side of my thigh more so than square on my butt in order to fit!

My clothes fit better!

I'm doing this regardless of what the scale says!

I can wear my purple bra!

I'm a few pounds away from 40 lbs gone!

I can't wait to hear everyone else's! You folks are so awesomely inspiring!

My jeans are getting too big, I can pull them on/off without unbuttoning...

I love these threads.....

Now when buying t-shirts I know XXL is too baggy, rather than worrying they'll be too tight and trying to find XXXL sizes. I've just ordered an XL on ebay

namaste984 I've checked out your blog, and I find your determination to keep working out to be very inspiring. I'm going to start working out again tomorrow because of you; we have very similiar body types and I want to do as well as you have.

belovedspirit Putting your cute underwear on makes the hard work so worth it, doesn't it?

Great job on losing your clothing sizes, Mozzy and CrazyCatWoman.

HelloNurse, Thank you for starting this thread. I looked for a NSV thread yesterday but did not take the time to start one.

I loved reading all your NSVs. They are all very uplifting and encouraging!

This weekend I bought size 16 petite pants. I am short and have always wanted to buy clothes in the Petite section of stores. This was my first purchase from a Petite department! Someday I will be buying most of my clothes from that department.

Yay for NSVs! Mine was that I had to go bra shopping this weekend. I knew I had gone down at least a size (and I was thinking that I'd probably have to hook it on the first set of hooks for it to work) but then I got fitted and realized I had gone down two band sizes.

One of my coworkers, a regular gym rat, noticed how hard I've been working. He said that he noticed how much I've changed already and that I'm looking really good. Also, people who I don't see very often have stopped me in the hospital hallway and asked "It's been bugging me, what's different about you?"

I had a huge NSV today! Biked 12.06 miles, beating my dad at time and mileage! (By almost 2 miles). Also have only 2 pairs of jeans out of 10 that fit me! I tried to put on an old pair of pants to run an errand and they almost fell off in the store. Thankfully, I saved myself from that embarrassment (literally, lol).

Time to throw out the big jeans so you can't grow back into them!

Finally finally FINALLY hit my first noteworthy NSV today! Long story short, I can wrap a regular towel around my body.. I don't have to use a beach towel! What?!

This week my boss gave me a pair of bright coral capri jeans. Holding them up she said they were a size 16. I'm a size 22 and gracefully accepted the jeans commenting that they would make great goal pants. That night I tried them on and they fit!!!! I wore them to work a couple days later and got so many compliments - what a feeling. May have to do some shopping!!
