5lbs vs. 50lbs

Why does it feel like these next five pounds (that will get me out of obese and into overweight category) are more impossible to lose than the previous fifty pounds that I have lost?

I have no idea, but I feel ya.

I feel the same way about these five that will get me into onederland. Well, 6.

Oh boy, I wish I knew, lol. I feel ya! I've been struggling to get out of the 160s for months now. We just gotta keep pushing through 1lb at a time.

It's a head game, and it definitely IS different losing weight after a long stretch of it, than the initial pounds. I don't know what I weigh, but I do know I am shrinking very slowly these days. Ten pounds now takes a lot of intentionality, effort, consistency, and time than the same volume of weight did a year or two ago. The closer my body gets to normal, the slower the process becomes. That's life, even if it sucks ;)

Sucks. But I think it's funny you and I have a similar mini goal. Not long ago I passed from morbidly obese to obese on the BMI scale. Next goal just plain old overweight.

Less you have to lose, the harder it gets.

I look at chicks who are going from 145 to 135 and think they are my heroes :D Those last 30/20/10 pounds are HARD!

Good luck!

I don't know either but I can relate, so close yet moving so slow!
