Beth, OMG, thank you for suggesting a split-slip!!!! I (and my thighs!) can't thank you enough!!! I bought it yesterday but didn't try it till today. OMG, awesome!! The shortest I could find was 20 inches so I kinda had to Urkel them up a little but it's like wearing a little piece of heaven. Thank you, thank you!! Never even knew something like this existed!!!
UGH I have so much to do in the next 4 weeks that I have decided to do nothing! lol i have turned off! I am sitting on my couch, wearing a BLANKET because I can't even muster the energy to get dressed! not gonna lie, I'm doing this blanket a favour by makin' it look so good but I am so damn LAZY this time of year!! 4 weeks till vacation...KEEP ME GOIN, COOL KIDS!!!
PS Can we reappropriate all New Kids songs to become Cool Kids songs? Like "Listen up everybody if you wanna take a chance,,,,just get on the floor and do the COOL KIDS dance!"
I understand what you mean, NorthernChick--I have tons of stuff to do and this is my only weekend fully at home this month--but I've been lounging around and reading and web surfing.
Cool kids share of the day: I'm enjoying [i]The Intellectual Devotional[/b] book I picked up a few days ago. It's a daily scientific/philosophical/historical/etc reading for every day for a year. I'm finding it really interesting, even if I'm just a few days into it.
Cool kids share of the day: I turned down drunken Rock Band last night despite the fact my entire house was a rocking jam fest. And I was able to enjoy myself regardless. HAHA!
We did our 7 mile walk/jog on the trail this morning....after last night's expenditure of excess calories that I had just laying around
Share of the day: It was nice and cool out this morning, the trail is covered in honeysuckle on both sides and smelled wonderful. Lots of wildlife on the trail and it was nice just soaking up the sights and sounds and smells.
There were also LOTS of branches and leaves everywhere from the storms we've had the last few nights.
My share of the day is I helped to fit a friend's flat screen TV to the wall today. It was more of a workout than I thought. And I will be wearing a modern fit (tight) suit tomorrow with a patterned pink shirt and plain black tie to work. It's gonna be big!
