I'll join this thread even though I'm almost out. I saw a 219.8 this morning but I don't know if it will stick. I have a 5k tonight and tomorrow I'll be cheering on the marathon runners, I'm hoping it doesn't become a carb fest.
I'm really enjoying eating low carb. I can't believe how fast I'm losing this time around...not that I'm complaining. |
IanG, that's awesome! I saw in another thread you accomplished your mini-goal of 225, so congratulations on that, too!

Sooo as long as it sticks tomorrow I've met my 40 pounds down goal for the week - weighed in at 235.6 this morning which is 40.4 pounds lost total!

Hey everyone! I'm a newbie to this site and this seems like an appropriate place for me to be. I'm currently at 231 (237 last week when I started my journey) so I hope to be here for only a little while but I'd love to meet you all while I'm here!
Does everyone find it helpful to have mini-goals? I don't have any so I'm curious if they work. |
Welcome, Dani86! I do mini-goals, sort of. I usually participate in one of the challenges that runs every 6-8 weeks and it does help me stay on task - thinking about the next 101 pounds I want to lose is way more daunting than thinking about the next 20!

Had a pretty good weekend- still in this 230/220 club which is amazing! (Figured I might bounce back to the 240 club since I'm on the border). Went out of town for a friend's graduation and ate a little extra than I wanted, but I ran 2 miles on Saturday morning and 1.5 miles today. So far, I am down a pound compared to Friday!
