Reunion Hell
 

Oh man. My 20-year high school reunion is on June 7th. I dread it!

The crappy thing is, even though I've lost weight, of course to everyone there I will just look huge since I was not obese in High School.

I'm not going to lose 60 pounds in 11 days, so I need to get over it!

Anyone else been through reunion **** lately?

Angi - I think you'll be surprised. After 20 years, there are going to be lots of changes in the way folks look! Everyone's going to be a little balder, a little saggier, a little plumper....

Whatever you do, GO TO THE REUNION!!! Don't sit out just because you don't look like you did 20 years ago. And really, when you think about it, how realistic is it to expect that?

Another thing you might wanna do - drag out the old yearbook...that'll show you just how much you don't want to look like 20 years ago! I graduated in '85....single-handedly kept stock in Aqua Net from crashing...all that big hair....oy!

My 10 year will be next summer. I'm already dreading it.

However, I have seen some people from my graduating class already and man, I've gained weight but I did not lose my mind like some of these people.

I'm going to get a new 'do in honor of my reunion. (My hair's grown quite a bit since my avatar pic was taken.)

i like #1, and #2 if the sides were even, not the right side being longer. =)

My favorite is #2 with even sides. Actually, you'd look really cute in any of them.

I like #1 and #4.

No! I don't have a favorite and haven't made a decision yet. I don't even have an APPOINTMENT. I need to do that today! Number 2 isn't really assymetrical - I think the hair on the left is behind the ear. In the original, you can see more hair on that side than you can here. . .
I might even dye my hair that color. It's a lot redder than mine in real life.

My vote is for #2.

I can so relate! My 10 year reunion was back in 1999, and I didn't go because I was over 100 pounds heavier than in high school. I was too embarrassed, but really though, I regret not going and seeing everyone. Now I'll have to wait to the next one.

So I would say GO, have a ball, and let us know how it goes!!! :D
