the decision was made for me

  • I"m having a stressful day at work, and decided to go off plan at lunch by buying a pack of homemade cookies. ( I know, I have yet to conquer emotional eating). So I go to the cafeteria, and they are all gone! The decision was made for me..must be fate! Glad to say I ate my on program lunch I brought from home and didn't buy anything else except diet iced tea...

  • SHERRY !!!

CONGRATS !!! I think I would have hunted for something else. WOW.. there's so many encouraging words here... are they low carb ? lololol.

    Thanks for the uplift !!

Dang, you guys are good !!

    Hugs
  • Good for you Sherry! I'm glad the you let the circumstance give you pause rather than hunting something else down. I've done that too, Leens!
  • Yup, that's exactly what I would have done too. I would've kept searching until I found something terrible for me and eaten lots of it. You did great and should be proud of yourself. Every step in the right direction is getting you closer to your goal!
  • Some things just happen for a reason...

    Dana
  • i love it when that happens!

it's worse when it's the other way around.. you go in for that bowl of veggie chili and they're OUT! so you end up getting pizza or something. (never happened... ok, maybe once.)
  • Yeah, my dogs have a habit of helping me out on that one. Go to eat some of the yummy left-over oatmeal cookies and wait a minute! Where are they? And Keiko laying there in the crumbs, grinning at me like a fool.

Some people have fate, some people have karma... I have dogma.
  • Jessicca - your cracking me up!!!!

Sherry - You have a great attitude. You knew you didn't need those cookies, but your emotions drug you there. And when they were out you took it as a sign not to eat! Wooo Hooo! What a great attitude! Keep it up!!
  • This happens to me all the time. I plan to have just a little treat cheat & then BAM! No peanut butter cookies in the vending machine.
