+ go another quilt ready for binding yesterday - I love doing hand sewing while watching TV

+ my sister is finally starting to recover from the horrible flu!

+ Disney's hip problem is improving - she runs up and down the deck steps now

+ Liz is finally starting to make that sad final decision about her dear wee dog

+ my neighbour Greg who shovelled off my side porch and walk yesterday morning before he went to work

+ the last slice of that delicious papaya - a taste of my week in the sun

+ survived a quilting bee with some expert hand quilters

+ sunshine finally! Weather is supposed to warm up next week for a day or two

+ got all the 2012 reports for Victoria's Quilts done and mailed off yesterday

+ a relatively calm Hump Day ahead

- grateful to get through yesterday on plan

- grateful for the willingness to plan for low sodium and reflux (no coffee, chocolate, citrus, tomatoes, onions, fatty foods, etc)

- comfy bed

- microwave oven

- friends, family, you all, fb, interent, cellphone, music

- we got a reimbursement we deserved.

- GS was selected to be in a special math group because of his high scores on a math test. I am so proud. (what math are they doing in kindergarten?- adding maybe)

+ my reliable oil burner that kept the house cozy last night

+ heat, light and water during this snowstorm

+ no need to go outside today except to clear off the bird feeders

+ being able to afford a new cell phone - I got a new BlackBerry

+ Barb who remains cheerful although she has a long wait for her knee and hip operations

+ my dogs who cope well with all the snow - Jazz enjoys it and Disney sighs and tolerates it

+ power is flickering but I do have flashlights and water on hand plus a new book on my e-reader

Yeah, I can throw a good few things in the hat

* I have a lovely boyfriend and lovely friends
* This iPhone is very useful
* I hit 200lbs today and the folks in the onederland thread have been incredibly supportive & cheering me on
* I might get a shift tomorrow
* I've had 3 lucid dreams since changing my lifestyle on 10 December 2012
* In one of them I was thin. It was so real. I will NEVER forget it. Thankyou, subconscious
* I'm starting uni in September
* I made mushroom & prawn risotto and turkey & feta burgers today and they were lovely. I can't even cook.
* This bed is warm
* I saw daffodil shoots the other day. SPRING
* My hair has finally grown long. 2 years of growing my hair has taught me the patience I need to lose weight. Ignore the frustration!
* I have so many hopes & dreams for my future
* I can pay my phone bill, which was unexpected
* So much has gone wrong in the past few years, but somehow, I really like my life, and I really like me

I'm thankful for my husband and his support so I can homeschool our kids.

I'm thankful for my children, and they joy and craziness they bring.

I'm thankful for our chickens and the eggs they lay.

I'm thankful to be getting healthier and physically stronger.

+ Richard who is so reliable about ploughing my lane

+ being strong enough to handle the shovelling myself

+ my friends who check to see if I'm OK when the power goes out

+ a quiet Friday home with my furries

+ Lee Valley catalogue that is getting me started on garden dreams

+ started organizing my personal tax stuff before the deluge starts with requests from seniors

+ trip to Boston in October looks firm now

+ only lost power for a few minutes in the storm

+ shoveling is done

+ grateful that my back and shoulders are fine after the shoveling

+ fixed the problem with the quilt binding

+ completely caught up on laundry ... for now!

+ Book Club brunch this morning - fun!
