Three NSV in as many days

  • I've been having a good few days here as far as NSV's go. I haven't weighed though so I could be having a scale victory too for all I know, lol! First, on Sunday I stopped by my Grandmas to help her clean up after she had an afternoon tea for her friends. She said "you look thinner, did you lose weight?" I said I didn't know because I'm avoiding the scale so I don't disappoint myself. She said "well, you look like you thinned out, you should weigh yourself." very matter of fact. She's old but she's not blind so I'm flattered of course.

Then, on Monday, sitting at home because I had the day off I was bored and decided to go through my dresser drawers and clean them out. I found a pair of pants that I haven't worn in over a year because they were always way too tight and gave me a horrendous muffin top. So I decided to try them on. THEY WERE TOO BIG! I had to put them in the donate pile!

Then number three, today, I came to work and was unlocking my office door when the lady across the hall said "Excuse me, can I help you?" I turned around and she said "Oh, I didn't even recognize you from behind! I thought someone was trying to break into your office!" Now, granted I did get my hair done over the weekend but its not that drastic of a change, lol!

So here I am, walking around with a little pep in my step after three awesome NSV's! I should probably stop being anxious about the scale and actually weigh myself.
  • Awesome!! Love days like that!! And the extra pep in your step is good exercise!
  • That is awesome - whatever the scales says - it's obviously all good changes. Just don't get hung up on a number and keep doing what you are doing as it's working, obviously.
  • What a great weekend! Keep up the wonderful work. I love the story about the lady from across the hall. That's just fantastic.

  • Great nsv's!!!!
  • well, that makes for a fun three days - congrats!!
  • Thank you all! I have had a rough few weeks previous to this weekend, with little progress and a lot of struggling so that made these NSV's so much sweeter.
  • What great NSVs. I especially love the one at work.....I will live for the day where I'm not recognized from behind! Keep up the good work.
