Right back to where I started at 300+ pounds after losing almost 60lbs between 2011 and 2012.
Towards the end of 2011 I moved to SC from VA and my weight loss stalled, but I was able to get back on track. Last August I moved to Texas, and my weight loss not only stalled, but I succumbed to all the yummy TexMex food, and lack of exercise facilities and gained every single pound back.
The only thing I can claim to have kept on track is my no soda rule... I still drink tons of water every day.
My January Health/Fitness Resolutions include to try this challenge thingy I saw on facebook, and a few of my friends are doing, and if anyone wants to join me, by all means please do... I could use all the support and help I can get.
Also, I am going to try to walk at least 30 minutes per day to start building my stamina back up, because I was to the point where I could get up the stairs quickly without being winded, and now I can't even get all the way up the stairs before I start breathing heavy. THIS SUCKS.
I have to improvise a bit when it comes to exercising, as space here is quite limited, and all the gyms require a 1 year membership, and we're only going to be here for 7 more months. I have a couple wii games (a aerobic boxing game, wii fit, and a walking game) that I will rotate for cardio, and then my strength training will be the squats thing...
I'm not going to mess with my diet *too* much at the moment, just scale back on the horrible for me stuff that I've been eating way too much of, because I can't afford to throw out all the food in the house and start fresh. I'll work on that as grocery days come around.
My first *weigh in* in months will come at the end of January. I really don't want to worry about the number on the scale as much as I want to focus on feeling better.
Anyway. I'm back. Fat took the last round, but it won't win the fight.
Happy new year!
