I'd like to meet some local friends in Texas with the same weight goals for moral support. I think it would make things a lot easier to diet with friends. I have quite a bit to go because I'm just getting (re) started. What do you think?
I'm thinking things like healthy nights out for dinner, pot lucks, and other things of that nature.
I'm a calorie counter because it seems to be the only thing that works for me. I lost 60 pounds last year before gaining most of it back and I'm determined to do it again!
Not quite close enough for regular social visits... but I am in TX (College Station - I'm told that's actually close by Texas standards)... and I do have a similar weight situation (back to 300ish pounds after getting down to 240ish a little over a year ago) so I'm also RE-starting.
