New Year's Resolution: To weigh 147lbs at the most by December 31st 2013

From New Year's to Valentine's Day, my resolution is: To get as close to 229lbs as I can (started this time at 257) because I start back at work after a leave of absence and 229 was what I weighed when they last saw me :)

Congratulations everyone on your losses this week! The scale didn't move for me, except for a couple of days in the middle of the week where I was at 262, which makes no sense at all. So no loss but 100% success in keeping on plan, so I am satisfied.

Ok..NOTHING of my plan is working out. The day after I put up my goal my family and I were hit by a drunk driver while sitting at a stop light. We are injured but nothing that needed hospitalization. They thought I bruised my spleen but the CT scan shows it to be ok. I just havne't been able to eat anything but soup and that might be stress and just bruised my ab wall and or something..could even be a nerve in my back not sure. So I have lost a lot of weight since I put up my goal but I am afraid when I start eating again it will all come back on as well as some more. I also for obvious reasons can't work out until the doc says so. but I still have my goal and when I am able I will put my plan into action.
Starting weight 263...

Week one (ends Jan 5th): 253 10lbs lost but I am VERY hesitant to even count this and don't expect it to all stay gone once I start eating again. That is one reason I won't change my signature just yet..

Today is my re-start day, so I hope it is ok to jump in here now. I definitely do best with challenges like this to keep me on track - short enough term to achieve a goal and then move on to the next one.

Hi everyone.. Just wanted to say I hope everyone is having a good Monday so far. I'm a little under the weather, but I'm not going to let it get me down. I'm very proud of myself I went the whole weekend working and not eating after work and before bed. Super excited about that because it is a bad struggle I have and I never thought I could break it.

Hope everyone is doing just as good!!!

Happy Monday all (if there is such a thing)! I finished Week 1, Day 3 of my Couch to 5k program yesterday. I love being outside and I'm really happy that I was actually able to follow the program. I'm going to go again tomorrow.

onmewei - I understand your hesitation. I had the stomach flu, lost 6 pounds and then gained it back as soon as I was well! Oh well. Guess I will have to do it the old-fashion way!

I am bummed that the scale isn't moving for me but I know WHY. I've been have a glass or two of wine, snacking on some leftover chocolate. Generally, NOT following my plan. But in my head, I am eating right and exercising the rest of the time so that shouldn't count, right?!? Oh... Right. :)
