Still stuck at that 269 mark. I can still make it pretty easily to goal by the 14th, but I wish I would have seen more of a loss the last two weeks. I manually changed my daily points down by three and cut my weeklies in half, so we'll see if that helps push me over the edge here.

New Year's Resolution: By December 31st, 2013, I want to be 199lbs.

From New Year's to Valentine's Day, my resolution is to lose 20 pounds. *2/2 Edit: TOM is starting, so I will aim for 26lbs. Looking for 258.8!

I made it past the Super Bowl party (had lean chili, no beer). Too bad the San Francisco 49ers lost though.

I was sure I could make it out of the 250's by January. But this is slower than I hoped so time for a reality check. Still, when I look back at the start of January to the start of February, that's 8 lbs. gone so progress is happening.

Six weeks...I'd like to weigh 150 by Valentine's Day!
Starting weight on January 1st was 162
Week one (ends Jan 5th): 160

So I had a gain due to my gross negligence in diet for a couple weeks...I got stressed out and fell off the wagon. I've re-established my goals, though, and am back on. I might not make it back down to 150 by next week, but that's okay. I can do this. :]

I agree, this has been a great challenge - I really like the idea of reminding myself of my overall goals for 2013, while working on a smaller time frame. What would be the next good milestone holiday?

I could be self-serving and suggest April 15, because that's my birthday! But I'm not sure anyone else would find trying to lose by Tax Day particularly inspiring.

Next challenge could be Easter, as it comes a month-and-a-half later. Just a suggestion.

So no loss yet again, but no gain. I don't know why I am not losing any weight, as I am eating very well, fruits and veggies, planned meals, better controlled portions, no eating after supper, etc. My metabolism must be at zero to not burn more calories But I am not giving up, eating well is part of a life change for me, not just for weight loss.

I think Easter or April Snow's birthday , I mean tax day , would be a great next goal to track! I saw one for 4th of July but that's mentally overwhelming to me. I like the shorter ones!
