quick question, do you ladies have a scale at home? I have to go to publix , its kind of uncomfortable..and a hassle between dropping the kids at school , i want to buy one but here's the thing, i don't want to spend a ton on a scale, also i dont want a piece of junk either , any suggestions on quality scale for not too high price?
Peggy Me? I'm doing fine. I'm still having the angio edema flare ups. Since I am taking the allergy medicine, they are not as bad. Last month I dropped down to my maintenance weight range. Then we went to the fair, it was DH's birthday, TTOM started, and this weekend I had an angio edema flare up. Stress seems to make the angio flare up for me. Also, I am still struggling with my thyroid meds. I had labs done and got my results last week. My medicine is still too low. With the increase in Synthroid from the last time, my numbers are even higher this time. The Dr. thinks I am having absorption issues from stress. I guess it's just going to take time to get everything back under control. I think I have done well, considering everything I have gone through this year. I want to be back in my maintenance range but that's very difficult with my thyroid numbers being too high. Now I am taking 224 mcg of Synthroid. That's a very high dosage. Patience, patience, patience.
Well, if you weren't talking about me, you just got a mini novel about how I'm doing.

Yes, you!!
So sorry to hear that you are still struggling health-wise. I will keep you in my prayers. You are such an inspiration to me.

Thank you very much and thank you for asking about me. Since I am having issues with the angio edema and thyroid, I don't want to frustrate others who are working on their weight loss and doing well. I am still working out, watching what I eat, and counting my calories. I am up on the scale a little, but I still consider what I am doing a success. If I got frustrated and gave up, where would my weight be? There is no telling. I really got a boost of motivation last month when my weight dropped into my maintenance range. I was thrilled because my thyroid numbers are still out of range and I was able to drop back down. It seems like every day is a new day of challenges.
It looks like you are keeping up the hard work, too!
Hey y'all - just thought I'd drop in to say a quick hello. Good to see some familiar faces and glad to see there are some new ones in the mix. I completely and utterly miss this group and the constant motivation to keep going. I've got about 2.5 months left until the little one arrives and then I'll be right back here because I can't wait to start shedding the pounds again.
Diana I'm so sorry to hear that you're still going through a tough time health-wise; and commend you for still sticking to your plan. Hang in there girl
Kukkie Hi! It's good to see you. I'm glad all is well with you. Thank you. At least I have a definite diagnosis, now. Now, I just need to work on the stress. It's been a long time since Rennie and Angie checked in. I hope all is well with them.
So I used to be on this board awhile ago and I fell off my weight loss, but I am back and ready for December daily weigh-ins!
It is nice to see some of the familiar faces! Diana you are still amazing me with your dedication despite your health setbacks!
I would love to see Rennie and Angie post again!
And Kukkie - OMG! You are having a baby! What amazing news! I am so happy for you!
Well, I missed being a part of the daily weighers...this really kept me on track. I still weigh myself daily, but I miss the support and sharing from this board! I look forward to getting to know some of you who started on this board after I left!
It feels good to get back on track! Looks like I will have to change my ticker and all my stats! Hopefully I will get back to where I was!
