First real NSV

I have been wearing my wedding rings on my necklace for about 6 months now. I had gotten too fat and the rings just did not fit on my fingers anymore. I was not going to get them resized. So I have been waiting.I kept trying them on and putting them back around my neck. Yesterday I tried again and YEA they fit. So one victory down many more to go.

Also I was able to fit into my size 18 jeans. Snug but they fit and I can sit down. ;). My 20 were really too big but the 18 were too small. Hopefully in another 10lbs they will fit better.

That's a great NSV! I, too, couldn't wear my wedding band, and it was a memorable day when I could finally put it back on. Now I can't wear it because it's too big!

Keep up the great work!

Congrats!!

True story, about 3 years ago, hubby was doing a biggest loser contest at work. He lost so much weight that his ring went from being too tight to even move to falling off and getting lost. I was crushed. It was only a $40 walmart band but dang it, it meant the world to me. I bought him a new titanium one and wrote off the lost ring. When we moved 2 years ago we found the lost ring in a box in hubby's workshop. The moral of the story, if they start getting lose, get some ring gaurds on those babies!

Congratulations! The others are right. Before you know it, those rings will be too big!

That's awesome! They are gonna be back on that chain in no time because YOU are gonna need brand new, tiny little rings, girl!

Congratulations! That's great news! I lost a stone out of a ring several years ago. It was totally unwearable. When I get to goal, that's my prize! I'm going to have the stone replaced and rock that baby! I'll probaby have to have it resized, then, too. Enjoy the precious sparkle on your hands right now!
