So today wasn't a good day from the start, Jacob was troublesome this morning, late for work, spoiled milk with my breakfast, couldn't get into my TMJ doctor for a month. Grandma was supposed to take Jacob to dinner and she cancelled. You know, just that kind of day.
But I was going home and things had to get better. As I walked through our back sliding glass door (with Jacob right in front of me), a full lead crystal bowl fell off of a shelf above the door and cracked me on the top of the head and then crashed to the ground breaking in a million pieces. It was full of glass candy which also broke. I'm screaming, Jacob is crying. Thank goodness Steve was home and was able to look and Jacob and make sure he was fine (just one very small cut). I didn't get cut at all, but the egg on my head is 2.5 inches around. I'm seriously thinking I better go to bed before something else happens!!!!
Sandi, That just sounds so very, very painful. I hope that you are feeling much better today. I hate to think of you feeling terrible on such a beautiful day here in Indiana, the birds are singing sweetly and the sun is shining brightly. It's just perfect, I hope that your day today ends up being equally perfect!
You be careful....make sure you go to the doc if the headache doesn't go away or if you start feeling inordinately sleepy or are vomiting for no reason.

Hope you're feeling better soon! And at least your little boy wasn't hurt.
