Drats! I'm up almost a pound and a half, but I feel smaller -- how is that possible? I started exercising this week, and a nurse friend says muscles retain water when you first start out. I know I was really sore the first few days. Here's hoping next week shows a loss!

Starting Weight: 251.1
Goal Weight: 231 by Autumnal Equinox - Sep 22
7/3: 251.1
7/10: 248.7
7/17: 250.1

Thank you Hotaruchan!
Some of it is bound to be water weight. I was down to 189.8 toward the end of June, but then I was out of control with parties and get togethers over the 4th and bounced up to 194.8 when I started this challenge.

I'm new and on my to losing 100+. I've lost 33 so far and was feeling a little overwhelmed about the next 80 but all of your comments have helped me stay focused.

I haven't felt very well the past few days so I've been taking it easy. Its rained off and on, the rain cools it off for a few minutes but then turns the city into a sauna. We get to go to the dentist tomorrow! So excited about that!

Doing well, chicks! It looks like y'all are making definite progress towards your goals!

envelope - Good for you for getting back on track after your Independence Day celebrations!

hotaruchan - You're doing pretty well, yourself!

1happyloser - Having lost 33 lbs. is quite an accomplishment! Keep on keeping on, and the rest of it will come off. Just take things one day at a time.

patchworkpenguin - Hope you're feeling better soon. Have fun at the dentist. :P

rebelle - That's the spirit! Go us!

OK -- I'm down this week, but just a bit. I think this challenge is meant to teach me a lesson. I always get discouraged when I have to "report" and I'm not performing. Even though it's not a team competition, I feel like I'm letting the "team" down!

I. Will. Stay. Calm.
I. Won't. Let. This. Upset. Me.

I'm only a little over 3lbs down in all, but still striving to get to -20 by autumn! Hang in there guys!

Starting Weight: 251.1
Goal Weight: 231 by Autumnal Equinox - Sep 22
7/3: 251.1
7/10: 248.7
7/17: 250.1
7/24: 247.8

Any loss is a good loss! Keep at it and I'm sure you'll get your 20 lbs.

AWshucks: Congrats on the exercise. I know what you mean about putting it off I just received an chair exercises for seniors CD and am putting it off till next week. I'll be looking after my 6 yr DGS this next week- that will wear me out. I lost 2 pds this week = 19 pds . I so wanted 20.

Where is everybody? Come out, come out, wherever you are!

Ginger -- good for you! 2lbs! You only have to lose one more to get that 20.. your grandkids will work that pound off you!

Hotaruchan - can we call you hottie? You've been doing really well! Keep it up! It's amazing that we're all so far away, but, yet, we're HERE together!

Thank goodness I'm down 2lbs this week! I needed that!
