Lightbulb Getting out of the 280s and 270s

So not sure if there is already a group for this. Didn't see one. If there is though, please let me know and I will delete this. However, if there is not, lets continue!

So I really find that these posts that focus on losing 10-20 lbs to get to the next group really help me. I used to be on here before I got pregnant and was part of an AMAZING group of gals! Now DD is 8 weeks and I am looking to get back into losing this weight like before! So ladies, spill! What are you all about? How much are you hoping to loose? Any moms out there that can offer advice? Plan on leaving her with dad for an hour so I can go work it! Thanks ladies! Good luck!

Hi there! I will gladly join you. I am very close to getting out of the 270's. I plan to kick them to the curb this week!

I've been bouncing around the mid 270s for awhile now. I'm buckling down and determined to get my way down to the 260s by the end of June.

You girls are so close!! Good luck! What is your workout routine? Thinking of getting back on elliptical for an hour and then half an hour on total gym. Do you think it is better to do crunches or sit ups? Seems like sit ups work the back more.

Ahh! My official weigh in is tomorrow and I'm around 283/282 now and hope that tomorrow to say goodbye to 280's. This was pretty cool to see because my goal for the past 2 weeks have been to say goodbye to 280's. I'll be happy if I'm 280 though lol. So woot for you getting back.

My goal is 190, because it was probably the lowest weight I can remember being in since I was in middle/high school. Originally I had a at least 5 lbs a month goal, but now I'e found the 10 lb one okay for me as well. .

I'm actually weighed in at 270.4 this morning. I have been fighting to get out the two 270s for the past 3 weeks. Last week I didn't lose anything this week I was down 2.6 pounds. I still consider myself a newbie to the whole weightloss thing I've been actively trying to lose weight since mid-late March.
The week I didn't loose anything I worked out 4 times and stayed OP this week I didn't work out at all but I still stayed OP. I don't know if I'm not taking in enough calories the days I work out I try to keep my calories around 1200 but some days its around 1100. Do any of you ladies have any suggestions???

P.S. Its 8pm I'm about to get on the treadmill I normally walk about 65 minutes at 3mph today I'm going do only 40 minutes in hopes that this will put me in a good range for the amount of calories I ate. Oh, and I have one snack left for the day and that will put me at 1175 calories.

I honestly fell off the wagon 2-3 months ago. Somehow I maintained around 270-272 the whole time. Not sure how that happened honestly. But today I got back into the swing of things and walked on my office's treadmill during my lunch break for 30 minutes (1.5 miles). It's start!

Yay!!!! Good for you! I was going to say you should eat a minimum of 1200 cals so you stay out of starving mode. And do a little makeover on your workout routine to confuse your body. Keep it up!

Ok, so just thought I would post my plan on here so it is set in stone! Will not be starting my routine until next week when all this bad influence food is out of the house and I can really focus. Plus how convienent that the show about losing weight with the hot trainer will be coming on NBC soon. That will be a good motivator for me too! Can't wait to get started!!

I can't wait to see you succeed erinmarie!

I did another 1.5 miles on the office treadmill at lunch and tonight my husband, daughter, dog, and I took another mile walk in our neighborhood! I'm making progress! I just really need to remember to take my tennis shoes to work with me. Walking in loafers wasn't the wisest thing I've ever done. The small blister under my toe says the same thing.

Ouch! You should just keep a pair of shoes at work, that is awesome you have an office treadmill!! Jealous! I can't wait til my daughter is old enough to put her in a carrier and I can walk around with her strapped to me. We live on a hillside soma stroller is awkward. Glad your almost to the 260 group Maybe this is mostly water weight and I can join quickly, haha! Wouldn't that be nice.

That would be really nice!

Did another 2 mile walk this evening with my family. Even one of the neighbor's dogs walked with us! LOL! I took a peek at the scale today and if the number holds, the 270's are GONE come Sunday!!!!!
