Default I never thought I'd love Baskin Robbins so much...

Just a fun story I thought I'd tell here,

I knew yesterday would be a challenge. We went out with our friends that are skinny but love to eat. We ate brunch, took the dogs for a long walk on the beach, and then went to a seaside seafood restaurant. On the way home, we went to Baskin Robbins.

They have the calories labeled right under the ice cream name is the freezer, so I ordered the kid size Reeses ice cream and understood I was about to eat 300 calories. Why would they write anything other than the calories for the smallest size they serve? That's what I would do if I was Baskin Robbins.

After the girl hands me my kid size cup, I ask if this is the 4 oz serving, since it says 300 calories for 4 oz on the sign in the freezer. She responds, no, that's a 2.5 oz serving. OMG YES! Not eating all 300 calories! And it was AWESOME!

I just love fun surprises like that. Today was my weigh in for the week, and I lost exactly 1 lb. Not the best week I've had, but I've also had a lot of good food this week, just in moderation

Isn't it funny how if you haven't had a thing in a long time it's just tastes AMAZING now? It gives a whole new meaning to the word "treat."

I'm sure if I had a full fledged cheesecake or something right now I'd just fall over and die from its deliciousness.

I have a lot of self control, so I find that 2-3 spoonfuls of a real dessert satisfies me now. What I don't get a lot of pleasure from is frozen yogurt and many other low calorie treats, so I usually avoid them all together and save up my treat calories for something really good

I'm a Sherbert lover myself. It's surprising how low in calories it is compared to other options. Yum!
