Do you take a multi-vitamin on a daily basis? If you do, Why? If you don't, Why? What type do you take and why did you choose that brand?

Yes I take a centrum chewable multi, just to make up for anything I might be missing.

Why did I choose that brand? It's one of the very few that make an adult chewable. (not gummi)

I'd started taking a multivitamin targeted toward women from Centrum shortly before my pregnancy, but switched out to prenatals as soon as I found out I was expecting. Although I had a miscarriage in January I still continue taking the prenatals at the insistence of my doctor, as I'd like to try getting pregnant again.

I think I chose Centrum because of the price and went with the women's formula because I'm concerned with my breast health since there's a history of cancer in my family.

I seem to do best with my overall health when taking supplements. I think part of it just might be a placebo effect in my case; taking them becomes a big part of my overall routine of being more health-conscious. "Look self, I'm taking vitamins, so I should have a healthy breakfast and go for a walk! And I should have a healthy lunch/dinner and avoid any fast food joints! And I should go to bed at a reasonable hour . . ." You get the idea. I'm sure there are many other health benefits aside from having it jump-start my day, for example I'm especially concerned with the possibility of having a vitamin D deficiency and hope that taking supplements will help increase my energy level.

yes - i take a vitamin from the local health store formulated specifically for women. i don't take one a day, though - i take two.

that's because my calories are far too low to get all the nutrients i need in a day.

Yes, I used to take prenatal ones (for the added vitamins and minerals while dieting because my doctor told me to) but they are so expensive, so now I just take the One a Day gummies because I like them But...I add an iron supplement, vitamin D supplement, biotin, and flaxseed oil.

I take an adult gummi that has extra vitamin D and extra fiber. Yummi gummi lol.

I try to but sometimes I forget.

I have Rainbow Light Prenatal One. Because I want to take just one, not a bunch and because according to doc I can use the extra iron.

I've taken centrum and other ones in the past. I keep mixing it up when it's times to get another bottle. Also do a separate calcium/D3 and 2 fish oils.

I take a multi vitamin and an extra vitamin b complex with iron. I feel a thousand times better when I take them.

Yes, a women's multi with extra calcium and D. Has always seemed like a good idea to me. First for years I was eating too much junk to get all I should from food and now don't eat enough calories to get everything.

I take Target brand "Up & Up" Womens Daily Multivitamin. They're inexpensive and I like having the extra vitamins in my system 'just in case.' I also take Vitamin D everyday, especially through winter.

I take CVS prenatal vitamins. Cause that's what I had in my cabinet.

I've also started taking a Viactiv calcium chew with lunch. They're yummy, taste like a tootsie roll. But I do count the 20 calories for it.

I take Centrum MV (and fish oil from another company) among other things! Why? Seems like a good a idea to get extra vitamins and minerals and the price is right!

I take a women's daily MV (when I remember... thanks for reminding me!) I leave a bottle at work in front of my computer so it stares me in the face. I also take a vitamin D supplement (50,000 iu once a week, prescription after blood tests revealed deficiency).

I take a bunch of vitamins including a pre-natal not only for my PCOS but because I would like to be able to have kids in the near-but- not-so-near future. If I start losing weight, taking the vitamins and planning now by the time I am ready to have kids in 1-5 years I'll be ready. Though I can't wait till I am at a point where I can drop all the vitamins except the prenatal. Im hoping to start taking some vitamins out of my diet like the calcium in the next 20 lbs or so. They helped when I was much heavier (300's) but are a bit much for my body now that I am a lot smaller.
