+ my PC was in the PC hospital since Monday but is just fine now

+ lovely time in Ottawa with my sister Joan - we need more one on one time

+ we are so lucky to have fresh fruits and veggies year round - I remember my childhood winters with canned veggies and fruit in syrup

+ Disney was sick in the night and Jazz barked to tell me! "Timmy's in the well"

+ library program went well on Monday and we do a re-run this morning

+ snowdrops in full bloom and so are Marsha's crocus on the sunny side of the road

+ I'm pretty sure I've conquered the screw-ups on the disappearing 9-patch quilt. I will never again use that pattern with one way fabrics!

+ finally have set up firm evaluation dates for Kierra the Rotty

Today I am thankful for my washing machine. It would be a real bummer to have to wash all that laundry by hand.

Beverlyjoy, my neighbour's cat loves my covered porch too and spent a lot of time out there on the wicker during the winter. This cat actually thinks she is mine and goes home only for food, the litter box and longer sleeps. A delight!

Today I am grateful for

+ my Irish heritage - so many memories of St. P's days past

+ a sunny and record breaking day ahead

+ shhh but it looks like the gardening season will start early this year

+ Bailey's Irish Cream in my coffee - a tradition in my family

+ time to scope out the garden today - in rubber boots as it's mostly flooded

+ although my syrup production is down this year, it's top quality stuff

+ supper for tonight is already started - corned beef and some potatoes and cabbage in two different crockpots for six people

+ got my summer clothes sorted and culled yesterday

+ overcame another problem with that darned quilt - remind me to never do that pattern again

+ sunshine, warm temps and an organized Saturday - all's right in my world
