Weighed in at 239.8 this morning! So happy to be joining everybody in the 220's & 230's.... I hope none of us are here long!

Hi everyone I just weighed in at 239.2 this morning. I look forward to getting to know you all, hopefully our stay in the 220's and 30's is a short one. The 240's was brutal for me.

It's awesome to find this group - I hope that I can hop onto your wagon.
I am DESPERATELY trying to get out of the 230s/220s range too!
I weighed in yesterday at 226.2 - the weight I was before I had my 2nd baby. Getting below 220 pounds would mean that I'd be under 100kg (which is what I used to weigh myself in) and that would be wonderful. My first mini-goal is to hit 200 pounds (this would take me below the weight I was at my wedding! Yikes!)

My husband says that it'd be great if I even got back to the weight I was at during the wedding but I'd love to be able to surprise him with even more

Welcome to all the newbies!

Yesterday was another good food day and I am down almost another pound! My goal was 235 by Sunday and I weighed in at 235.2 today. Oh loss, please stick!

The rest of my life, however, is not so good. My grandmother fell and broke her shoulder yesterday. She is okay, although not able to do a lot of normal things on her own, and she was supposed to come with us on a family cruise vacation next week! Now we don't think she will be able to go. Right now, her doctor is advising she not go.

I hope she gets well soon, but now we have to deal with the trip insurance claim. We also bought her alot of ship-board credit and have to get that refunded. Her sister-in-law is going to stay with her while we are gone to help. It's just a huge nightmare all around! Ugh! This was going to be her first real vacation in 10 years!!!

Underwater - Sorry to hear about your grandma. I hope she gets better soon.

Congratulations on your loss!!! What plan are you following? You seem to be losing at a fairly fast pace.

Hi Pretty Mom,

I'm just counting calories. I cut out all the deep fried stuff I used to eat all the time and also stay away from super carby stuff like bagels, but I still eat a pretty normal diet. I'll eat sandwiches with bread or even a bun (!!!) but just try to keep the contents of the sandwich low calorie. I'll also have a small amount of rice or potatoes (baked or mashed) with a meal if I want.

I was also doing C25K, but I've stalled with that. I got a busy with work and that has also been slowing down my weight loss. I use to have great 1200 calorie days with running to burn another ~200 calories, but that hasn't been so consistent anymore. I started at 265 on xmas day and made it to 236 in the middle of February. I then went up a few pounds and I'm back down to 235.4 now.

Guess I am posting in here(with any luck not for long.) I started at 229.4. Went down 2 lbs. Then went down 3 more the next week. This week Monday I weighed in at 230.2. Almost died. A 6lb gain. But, I am guessing it was water because I weighed in today at 222.2. So hopefully I will be out of the 220's soon.

Thanks Underwater. You are doing awesome! My weight loss is going a lot slower, but at least it's going, so I can't complain. I just bought some kettlebells. I'm hoping that a little weight training helps me lose a little faster.

Hi Everyone!
Looks like this is my new home for a while! I am at 238 this morning. I am a weekly weigh-in-er (LOL) on Tuesdays.
So happy to be out of the 240's, especially since I ate out twice this past week.

Since this is a double thread for the 230's and 220's.. the goal in my head is to hopefully be out of here in 8 weeks.
Until then looking forward to getting to know everyone and cheering you on your way!
